I'm also finding out that stress also seems to come from worrying about every little thing. That's why I enjoy taking Yoga. It relaxes the mind as well as strengthening the body. :)

Stress truly is a killer. I remember the most stress I had ever been in in my life. I could not sleep and when I did it was for a few minutes at a time. I needed melatonin to sleep for these few minutes. I didn't have an appetite and my gut health became unhealthy because when I did eat, it was junk food. One of the days I woke up throwing up...literally sat up and bed and tried to make it to the bathroom. I could not think clearly. My hair was falling out in chunks. So yeah, extreme emotional upset leading to stress can lead to many physical health problems. Eventually I prayed multiple times a day saying, "Dear Lord, I cannot handle this. Please, take all of this burden from me. I cannot do it. I am so sick."

I tried not to think about the root cause and instead told myself, "God is in control." My health started to come back and I had more energy.

It isn't too surprising if you know about trauma and/or victims. The emotional toll messes with the cortisol and can cause chronic Addison's Disease because the adrenal glands are worn out and refuse to produce cortisol. We need cortisol for many functions. In abuse victims cortisol runs high because the fight and flight response is often on. The abuse victim does not often relax and usually have insomnia problems (often goes to bed late and wakes up early because they fear for their safety).

i had some hair loss going during stress, too...that and facial dandruff (part genes, part immune system...worse under stress...). I had an Rx cortison product for the scalp and 2 Rx cortison products for the face....

and I wasn't a believer then. a lot of it, honestly, was guilt and brain damage. Thankfully...Jesus saves! :)

I don't know why but I was just out on my bike and even though I had a lot on my mind, I didn't think that I was stressed out, but I could feel my adrenaline starting to rush and my heart starting to beat faster. Of course this just meant that I paid attention out there even harder. I'm not like the kids who go walking around with the earbuds in their ears and eyes on their cellphones. I want to be able to see and hear everything out there especially at a time like that. So anyways, I got back home quickly and sat down on my front porch before I took a few slow deep breaths like I did in Yoga and I was fine again at least and it does always manage to calm me down. :)

Is that a man made beehive right by the meter? Above and beyond the call of duty Jason.
Yes.and no its not above as we can't force a bee keeper to move the hive. To my knowledge ,I put the warning in and there have been worse ,hives in a hole by the meter yet never removed until the owner wanted too

Here they bill us on an averaged / estimated basis if the meter has become inaccessible.

We do that only if we must then ,after a few times, pull the power or water.

We have pulled power to few folks, restored only if they allow acess.

I try to keep the area by my meter safe. You would have an easy time of it reading my meter. Every once in awhile I will be sitting on my back porch when the reader checks my meter. We say hello, and he moves on the the next house.

I posted that because I seem to be doing that a lot today and feeling guilty about my past. :sad

What's wrong? =(

What I do know is the past can be our greatest testimony or our worst enemy. No matter what happens our past has a no return policy. We can't go back, we cannot change it, and sitting around feeling sorry for ourselves won't solve anything. Instead, focus on the present and don't worry about what comes next because each day has it's own troubles.
