What's wrong? =(

What I do know is the past can be our greatest testimony or our worst enemy. No matter what happens our past has a no return policy. We can't go back, we cannot change it, and sitting around feeling sorry for ourselves won't solve anything. Instead, focus on the present and don't worry about what comes next because each day has it's own troubles.

Oh I accidentally let some information slip that I shouldn't have, but I guess you're right, that's what my mother has been trying to tell me all along and besides, ever since I got saved all things have been washed away by the blood of Christ anyway. :cross

Jason, you can get a beehive smoker for a little over ten dollars. It won't hurt the bees, but it does calm them. Behive keepers use it to do work on hives without stirring up the bees there.

Not my property and I usually get the reads from that.boy ,I would be fired if I did that .he was the mayor ,vice mayor a few years ago. If need be can read that from the north yard with binos.

We do that only if we must then ,after a few times, pull the power or water.

We have pulled power to few folks, restored only if they allow acess.

Harsh, but fair.

I'm thinking a job requiring you to get stung by bees is cruel and unusual punishment, lol. Then again I don't like "the creeping things," generally. I wish Noah would've left them off his boat :biggrin

I do understand you tolerate this in the effort to not kill pollenators unnecessarily; my hat's off to you.

I'm thinking there should be a standard notice you guys should have, like a stack of Post-Its, explaining you can't read the meter because _____ , they will be billed on an estimated basis that may not be accurate and if not corrected service will be cut off after ____ months. You could then stick it inside their exterior door, or whatever spot seems likely.

I can't stand snakes. I wish that God would have allowed Noah to leave them behind. We are sort of getting off topic now though.

Off topic? Spiders and snakes stress me out! Lol (Lookup an old song on YouTube, I Don't Like Spiders and Snakes)

True good point lol. I can handle spiders a lot more than I can handle snakes. In fact, I sort of like tarantulas. I will lookup that song as soon as I'm done eating. I do believe that I heard it before on halloweenradio.net. That's where every Halloween they make you scream! Muhahahaha!! :mischief Sorry, I couldn't resist. :lol

Jim Stafford, lol. I like that song.

I believe most (if not all) stress has it's roots in fear? Does that sound right? We're told in scripture about a zillion times...do not fear, don't be afraid...

So I don't. (I try not to at least.) It is what it is. Everything will be totally different than what we expect anyway and absolutely everything is a teachable moment. I do fail those moments a lot, but usually always recognize in hindsight that it was a test of sorts.

Like they say, life is 10% what it deals you in the cards, and 90% how you react to it.

They would ignore that ,I have a house or two on my routes like that.

We kill bees

Smart water, gas meter ,but no electric one.that's odd.water ones here are useless as they break, are innacurate.

Its been on for years, and been accurate so far. It even caught a leak, and they sent me a letter telling me about it. Calls home every hour. Maybe your area needs to switch to a different brand.

Battery operated, they read them manually, it saves no money .a person must be paid to see the read and it is entered.you can't run 220volts along a water line.

All.water lines here can't habe that level of hot on them,if a tree root were to break the Line and ground ,well it will not be pretty for that tree or anyone who touches it.

There are local wifi powred apps, but thinking about ,post a photo of your meter box,it will have antannae to it and still have the ability for you to read it.

The cost for us to do that is over a million and it saves nothing as the meter reader still has a job.

A smart meter for electric removes the need for these

CUT off or on cut crew, meter reading, phone line to report an outage as they send out a signal when they lose power, mine can be acessed, but is never sending data live.I can see usage 24 hours ago.so it sends out a data burst ,hourly but it's not set up to be viewed from the current second, unless they fixed that.

The works are inside a plastic box that I am not supposed to open. I don't know how it works. An electrician and plumber came out to install the system. There is a dial for homeowners to monitor usage.

I haven't seen a smart meter since I've been here in Ohio, praise the Lord!

They say the smart electric meters are dangerous and emit radiation. I'm glad I don't have one.

I contracted with Colorado Springs utilities a few years back to change out a bunch of gas meters to smart meters...I got the bid, we all went through the training how they wanted it...did a field test of three each...then they jerked the rug out from underneath us and went in-house with it...:angry
