Strong or Weak Prayer

Do you believe that some people are stronger prayers than others? I don't think God would consider one prayer superior to another (given that both people are sincerely speaking to Him from their heart). I was raised to believe that how loud you pray or speaking in tongues is of little importance.

What does God say about prayer? I have one quote below.

But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Matthew 6:7

I was just thinking about starting a thread on a similar issue.

How do people like TB Joshua have so much power and anointing that no prayers of him seem to go unanswered. There are also pastors in my country that hold healing services in their church once every week and hundreds get healed without fail. Actually even in normal weekend services, it never ceases to amaze me how prophecies are being spoken and miracles after miracles take place. Sometimes we can't help but wonder if the power and anointing will ever run dry but it never seems to end.

How do these pastors keep on going? .. what's their "secret" ? Perhaps they spent long private hours in fasting and prayers ? I understand that there are also very strong intercessory prayer groups in some churches. For example my church has an intercessory prayer group that will often receive very accurate knowledge from the Lord that someone of a specific name is going to be healed, or they will receive some other message, which they write down a piece of paper and hand it to church leaders who will then pass to the "patient". I have personally been very blessed through such messages.

Repetitive or long prayers are not always necessary. There was once a healing service held in my church and guess who were the people that prayed ? It was not the adults, it was not even any pastors ... It was the CHILDREN , from about 4yrs to about 13yrs. They were simply guided by their parents and adults, but our pastor gave strict intructions that no adult is to pray on behalf of the children. The children had already been well equipped spiritually in their Sunday School so they knew what to do and what to expect. Believe it or not, some of them prophecized, all of them laid hands and prayed for the ADULTS. Many of the adults got healed instantly and gave testimonies. Simple, child-like prayers, nothing long and nothing repetitive .. Truely awesome !
