Who do you think will win the Super Bowl and who are you rooting for?

I don't really care much who wins since I am not a fan of either team. I just want to see a good game.

drumminlogin,

This is a tough game to call. A lot of people seem to think Carolina (but with the points), some say Carolina straight up. I honestly don't know who's going to win this one. If New England can shut down Carolina's running game, That could sway thing heavily to New England's favor. Carolina's bump and run coverage could cause problems for Brady. If it comes down to who makes the least mistakes I'd go with New England, Carolina's QB doesn't impress me. If you're going to beat NE, you need to run and be effective at it. If Carolina tries to throw to much I think that will be their end, this is why NE needs to score fast and force Carolina to throw. I think the Key to everything is Carolina's running game, even if it doesn't work early, they need to stick with it and it will pay off in the forth quarter.

My pick.... New England. They have experience, a great coach, a solid QB, and a defence that makes you earn every yard. But having said that....If Carolina can run with authority, they could pull off an upset.

I'm taking the Patriots in a close low scoring game. The Panthers D will be the best the Patriots offense has played this year, but the most important matchup is the Panthers offense vs. the Patriots D and more importantly how Jake plays in this game. If Jake struggles, this game will get ugly but I think they will stick to pounding the ball with Davis and Foster and that will keep them in the game but ultimately inexperience will cause them to fall short.

Pretty good game. The the only thing that surprised me was the high scoring. Both teams played well enough to win only the Patriots made their mistakes early and the Panthers made theirs late, which is why they lost. I agree with John Madden when he said, "how you kick a kickoff out of bounds just baffles me."

I'll give credit to Delhomme, I was wrong about him. He had a bad start but came on strong. I'm a Browns fan and we could of drafted Brady, I know, so could everyone else, but we were even looking for a QB. We chose QB Spergeon Wynne. The next Qb taken was Tom Brady. Ouch :crying: It was a fun Superbowl to watch.
