This is a documentary that is playing in theaters now, but its not a very wide release so it might not be playing near you. The basic premise of the movie is that a healthy young man decided to eat 3 meals a day for a month at McDonalds and see how it would affect his health. Its no surprise that it had a negative inpact, but the extent of the physical deterioration is truly amazing.

The movie is really well made and entertaining. Interspersed with the actual documenting of the diet is information about McDonalds, fast food, American obesity, and school lunches. Obesity is a huge problem in the US, and it is clearly because of the abundance of cheap and quick food that we consume that is completely lacking in nutrional value. Watch this movie and see if you don't think twice about eating out as often as you do.

It's not rated, but there is some profanity and a frank discussion of how his sexual performance was afffected by the diet, so it probably isn't appropriate for children.

Does he sue McDonalds at the end?

I could have saved the guy the trouble and suggested he eat some of the burger all by itself (without its bread and add-ons).

That I think would turn off most people from eating there.

I really wanted to see it, but alas i wasnt driving an hour and 1/2 to go to go see it
does anyone know if its coming out on video?

It is already out on video. I just rented it at Hollywood video. I would definitly recommend. Make sure to eat McDonalds the night before if you like it since you probably won't want to eat it afterwards. It was a well made documentary and I would definitly suggest it.

I haven't eaten a McDonald's burger in years. They are disgusting compared to burgers at other fast-food outlets. Although, I do enjoy Bacon 'n' Egg McMuffins occasionally.

And I haven't seen the movie although I have heard it is really good.
