And the sad part is is that some anti Catholics may feel no empathy or pity.
France is a complex country in my opinion. Strongly Catholic in the past, then saw a gradual immigration of Muslims from northern Africa. Maybe a big number of Christian and Muslims is not compatible in any country.
I don't wish to wind up Islamaphobia here by the way. Just wish the radicals would stay in Muslim countries.

I would rather live in a country where Christianity remains the majority religion. Church and State can stay separate of course. The values of Christianity respect democracy and tolerance. I don't think that is the case with radical Muslims. Moderate Muslims are not a threat I admit.

An extremist flipped out the other day in France as well.
The killer in that case was a Chechen born in France. France took pity on refugees from Chechnya after their war with Russia.
This is how compassion is sometimes rewarded.
There is a big problem, young Muslims are doing that radicle thing, they are reading the Qur'an.
They read that it say attack non Muslims, that in the holy war ther is paradise to be gain for those who die in battle, they learn that only under Islamic rule is there peace as all other nations are in the land of war.
Radicalisation happens to those who learn about there religion.

There was also an attack in Vienna. The gunman apparently was a convicted terrorist on early release.
