My testimony doesn't involve a huge change from an old life to a new since I was raised in church. However, God has done so many wonderful things in my life that I do have much to thank and praise Him for.
I think of that time when mom was w/o a job and it was hard to say where our next meal would come from. But, we never went hungry, Jehovah (meaning "provider") always took care of our needs. Sometimes it was an annonymous box of food on our doorstep, or cash in the mail box. I also always had plenty of clothes and never had to miss out on church camps (people often sponsored me). My Heavenly Father was surely our Great Provider! And that is just a start of all I can share!!!
Also, I had entrusted Him with my future all through my teen and early adult hood. I knew what I wanted to do with my life but had no idea how it would all work out. I wanted to be able to still have a way to use the artistic gifts He blessed me with, be a stay at home mom and also contribute financially to the household. I just couldn't see how all of that could work together, but God knew the desires of my heart and by trusting Him, He made it all possible! I am so grateful to Him for that.
I am a stay-at-home, homeschool mom who owns her own dance studio that was built right onto our house. Because of this, I was also able to finally start taking Martial Arts (something I had wanted to do for many years) since I was able to work out a deal with the local instructor who rents my studio for his classes. I also still get to paint (backdrops), design and sew costumes. My Lord is so awesome!!!!
