I want to thank God for healing my wife. Last Wednesday my wife fell, and could not use legs to help get her up. We ended up in a hospital emergency area, cat scans, and diagnosed with a concussion, and released.

Friday my wife could not rise from the bed, barley walk with help, and the hospital was called, ambulance called and transported to emergency again, though in a different hospital. On the way there they were using no emergency lights until about half way, and they took off and left me. I began praying and crying out to God in a manner I did not know was within me; I reckon I just thought whatever happened would be His will and I could accept it. I got to the hospital soon after the ambulance arrived and they had a team of doctors working on my wife in the trauma unit. What I feared was my wife suffering more than all else, and yet here she was with no pain at all.

Diagnosis of vital signs show something around BP 50/40, pulse around 120, oxygen 50 if I remember it correctly. Quickly giving x-rays, and ultrasounds produced a pancreas with a gall stone approximately 1 ½ in blocking its output. Her body became septic with bacteria in the blood, bladder infections, and jaundice from poison backing up into her liver.

They did an operation within about three hours by inserting a tube through her nose with a camera, and tools to get up into the pancreas and pull the stone out. Once open the backed up poisons immediately began draining out into her intestines. Actually the gall bladder produces the stones and will have to removed later, but she spent three days in the trauma unit, has continued improving and I expect to bring her home probably tomorrow unless they discover anything else.

Thank You Father in Jesus’ name.

I pray for a speedy recovery...

Your wife - and you - remain in my prayers, Brother Eugene.

Be sure to have a small pillow handy when your wife returns home. She should hug that pillow as she coughs (most people do some coughing after a general anesthesia) ... the pillow helps to hold the stomach in place. Sorta like a teddy bear for children!

Also, forewarn her in a gentle way that she's going to not so much enjoy her first post-surgical week. It's simply going to take a little bit of time for the healing to occur, and that includes the inner healing. Everything will shift just a tad with the removal of the gallbladder.

You might want to buy some sage for use in cooking. Sage helps the body to process any fatty elements of food. Since the gallbladder won't be there, the sage - used in small amounts - will handle that. I like a cup of hot blackberry/sage tea every so often :wave2

Today my sweet wife underwent four hours surgery on the removal of her gall bladder, which normally takes one to one and one-half hours.. It was so infected, had two huge stones in it, and was also leaking puss into her system. After two hours of recovery she was brought to her hospital room groggy, but feeling no pain which I asked God's mercy for. They brought her a light dinner which I hand fed her since she still was weak. It was chicken stock, jello, and apple juice; she didn't want the tea. She will be kept another two to three days, but I know Whom I have believed and am persuaded His grace prevails to keep her though this, and will continue until one day He takes her to His very presence.

Brilliant answer to prayers, Brother Eugene ! Please let your dear wife know that we love and care about her, and that she is held within the embrace of our prayers for her speedy recovery and good health.

Our Lord is marvelous!

Thank you Sister AirDancer. She may be released from the hospital to a rehab facility in the next couple days, although no certainties yet, and that depending upon the continued lowering of sepsis of her blood. Being at the hospital most of the day has left me feeling as if riding a merry-go-round with no progress in destination, but that's better than the alternative. God bless you in Jesus' name. :)

Thank you for the update, my dear friend. You've both been on my mind quite a lot, and wondered how the healing was progressing.

I know the merry-go-round feeling you've experiencing. Eventually, that merry-go-round will straighten out, because our Lord is with you!

Tomorrow when you see your wonderful wife, please give her a hug and kiss from me (and from all here at CFnet!) :hug
