this is what our state and our country is suffering right now..... thank you those of you who have supported me for all of your prayers and support and kind words and thoughts... nothing can mend what has happened but all of your kindness and prayers go a long way to making a difference. My husband and baby and i are lucky to be safe and well and still have a home to go to, but many many people are not as lucky as we.

I just wanted to express my gratitude for all the kindness i have recieved from all of you, and let you know that friends and family of mine who are effected by this are also grateful for your prayers and thoughts.

I'm still praying for your nation Amy, I really hope the fires stop soon.
 
Yes, as are we! God has blessed us and kept us safe from harm... but it is so painful to watch so very many people suffer and be unable to do anything to help them... we have spare rooms and beds, so we are waiting to see if anyone needs those, but we haven't any spare money.. i just wish there was more i could do there are so many people in so much pain and the road to recovery and rebuilding will be very very long.
 
Spare rooms and beds are more than many of us can offer. The "open door" policy is a very kind gesture. :amen
 
I agree with Vic, it's a kind gesture.

Thankfully you are all safe!! Did you give us an update on your Aunt? I can't seem to find it and if you mentioned on FB, I can't seem to find it there either.

I will continue to keep your country and all those people in my prayers.
