Does the standard of Christian morality and it's association with believing that it is the highest good, not cause a serious paradox? If Christian's for 2000 year's have been dominating human minds with a morality non-consistent with human nature and instinct, non-consistent for survival, for sex, for comfort, for health, for learning, for adaption and change.

If the set of morals that are designed to assist a person with character adjustment end's up suppressing their inner nature, causing them to shift out of the reality of how they function. Such thing's leading humanity to build a false matrix of beliefs, that should make well people, but in fact does the exact opposite.

Take this example.

The preoccupation with the tradition of marriage and it's formula for the church. This infact had caused more harm than good, harmful in standardizing and organising human families as a hierarchical system.

Such arrangements are infecting our community fabric, creating a unrealistic view of family members. Okay, look, this is what bronze Age people thought, but why continue something that's obviously flawed.

Example over.

It doesn't create a paradox, it offers a discrete choice: the ways of the world, or the path of true and eternal salvation. Sadly, most people choose the secular path. Christians choose the path less traveled.
Right, and how exactly is this trodden path so narrow if 2.2 billion people today have convinced themselves they've found it. It's a quarter of the population of the earth, running rampant in the family unit. One that Jesus the Christ specified that would hate you for his name sake. If this was true then there would be no connection between belief and the hierarchy of the institution of marriage.

Because calling yourself a Christian is not enough. I believe many is the Christian who ultimately is lost. How can a Christian go to hell? Unfortunately, there are a few reasons. Probably the biggest is unforviveness still in their hearts; if you do not forgive others, God cannot forgive you. Next is unrepentedness; if you are Christian in name only and keep sinning without repentance, you will be lost. Then there are the lukewarm Christians. God will spit you out like poison. There may be a few more, but those are the biggies.

Many believe that accepting Jesus as your savior is all you must do to be saved. I personally do not believe that, for the reasons I gave above.

God has created us, loves us, and knows what is best for us. He is trying to help us by telling us to do things a certain way.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV

You can trust Him. He knows what He is doing.

I do not think the Christian family structure harms anyone. People who pressure people stay in unsafe marriages, demonize homosexuals, etc....they harm people, but that's not genuine Christianity.

People who hate others will use anything to prop up their hatred and bigotry. People who want to wage wars against another group will find any sort of reason--including religion--to get the masses behind their efforts. People who want power will use all existing sources of power and control--including churches, synagoguges, mosques, the school system--to indoctrinate people and control their behavior.

All that is not a reflection on Jesus or people who have an ongoing, personal relationship with him. Its like a saying I recall...religion mades good people better, and bad people worse. :)

Paul said it this way -

And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Galatians 5:24

Colossians 3:1-41 If ye then be risen with Christ, (meaning you have submitted your life and your will to that of God's will) seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Now read the rest of the chapter to learn what morality is in the eyes of God to those who are truly His own and that which we need to mortify of the flesh as we are no longer our own, but that of being a child of God. It will help answer your question as there is no paradox. You are either walking after those things of the world or you are walking in the Spirit of God in obedience to His commands that brings life and peace to our very soul.

A long time ago a pastor said to me "when you read the bible see two people, God and yourself." I totallly agreed with Him. We are not here to judge anyone, only to witness. Everything we say and do reflects what is in our heart.
Maybe not judge anyone but it is lawful to rebuke wickedness. The Lord Himself and also His Apostles promoted righteousness and rebuked wickedness.

For example I would state that forbidden sex acts in the law qualify as sexual immorality and the sexual immoral do not enter the kingdom of God. In this world that has become offensive to others. But I think the Church should stand firm.

You have to look at things in their context, and see the sides of man, evil and God in every situation in the bible. The devil is not eternal, Satan was an angel a created being but he exists throughout the bible.
