How do you feel about the coming four blood moons that land on the Lords feast days in 2014-2015? As far as I know, This has happened 7 times since Christ death(this will be number 8). on top of that, there is suppose to be a full solar eclipse on Nisan 1 2015..

The last 3 times:

1493-1494 - In 1492 Jews were persecuted and expelled out of Spain.

1949-1950 - In 1948, Israel was reborn as a Nation.

1968-1969 - In 1967, Israel had a 6 war with 3 surrounding Arab nations which resulted in reclaiming control of Jerusalem.

Could something major happen? Gog-Magog war? Reclaiming of the Temple Mount?

Will be interesting to see if anything happens.

Aside from Rev 6, is there any scriptures about all these "Blood Moons" you can share with us? Total lunar eclipse can make the moon appear red, but how is this related to the Word of God and end time thread? The sixth seal actually puts the sun out, so I would not really call that an eclipse, but a low light reflection from the sun that is just a dull dark orange.

Joel 2:31 NIV - The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. Coming full circle...the Rapture of the church is imminent. In the Bible the number 8, which comes after the number (7) which signifies completeness, symbolizes a new beginning, or a new order of things, a new creation, a new birth, and the resurrection to eternal life.

or...it could just be an astronomical event.

Things happen in the world during eclipses too, doesn't mean there's anything behind it.

Clearly unrelated. The blood moons in the past during some of the most significant times in Israel and Jewish history is clearly, clearly a coincidence. :chin

Acts 2

16 but this is what was spoken of through the prophet Joel:
17 ‘And it shall be in the last days,’ God says,
‘That I will pour forth of My Spirit on all [q]mankind;
And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
And your young men shall see visions,
And your old men shall dream dreams;
18 Even on My bondslaves, both men and women,
I will in those days pour forth of My Spirit
And they shall prophesy.
19 ‘And I will grant wonders in the sky above
And signs on the earth below,
Blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke.
20 ‘The sun will be turned into darkness
And the moon into blood,
Before the great and glorious day of the Lord shall come.
21 ‘And it shall be that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

There have been far more significant events without an eclipse or blood moon than there has with one.

But hey if you want to put signs into random events, sure....go for it.

On a side note Wiccans also associate blood moons with whatever even happen to fall on that moment. Along with every other religion in history. It actually has it's origin in deep superstition.

Also, that scripture you posted is in regards to the last days. It's connected to revelation. And there have been blood moons and many eclipses in the past.

Genesis 1:14 "Then God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years;"

Luke 21:25 "There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves,"

Find out what the meaning of "signs" and "seasons" means in Hebrew then let's talk again.

Signs on the earth such as blood, fire, and smoke can obscure the sun and make the moon appear red. There is no need to look to dime store astrology when Jerusalem burning 2000yrs ago doubtless produced the same effect. Then again, it's an evil generation that seeketh after a sign.

Not only that fires and smoke can create lightening. The article I have attached shows a picture of this lightening in Nevada a few years ago and explains how it happens. If I can today l will post a couple pictures we took a few years ago of a forest fire about 6 miles from us. We went at night to a spot across from the fire. They are pretty amazing and show clearly the lightening. http://news.nationalgeographic.com/...nder-clouds-volcanoes-science-weather-russia/

The blood moons are an interesting sign in the sky. How many of these blood moons will be visible in Israel? I want to say maybe one? I am not sure how important they are unless they are seen over Israel... My eyes are open. We will have to wait and see. Will Damascus be destroyed? How about Iran? Isn't there a Psalm 83 war or something like that?

So when nothing happens during the blood moon are you going to cling to some other new random prophecy?

Is that what we as Christians in the modern era do now? prophecy hop?

There is a difference between astrology and biblical astronomy. Astrology points to us, biblical astronomy points to God. Has God ever before used any of the dots in the sky to declare his times and seasons?

  1. Matthew 2:2
“Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.”
  2. Matthew 2:7 Then Herod secretly called the magi and determined from them the exact time the star appeared.
  3. Matthew 2:9 After hearing the king, they went their way; and the star, which they had seen in the east, went on before them until it came and stood over the place where the Child was.
  4. Matthew 2:10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy.
Deuteronomy 4:19 is specific not to worship what God created in the sky, but the bible is clear they are used as signs and messages from him. So when there are passages in Acts 2:19-20 or Joel 2:31 about the moon sending signals for us to watch and be prepared, why don't we believe God's Word? The last 3 times this occured were significant periods of time in Israel's history. If I was a betting man, I would bet my boss's house there will be something significant going to happen. What that is, not sure yet.

I would say something to do with the temple. Historically, the blood moons seemed to happen at a time when the Jews were at war or in some way in trouble as you pointed out. They got their land back, and their city, well, part of it, and the thing that would make it complete is the temple and sacrifices again.

But.... just my opinion.

Yes, I too believe this. And the calendar is based on them, of course, and the feast days were foreshadows of things to come which were held at a very specific time.

I guess for the layman out there, just imagine the sun and moon as giant clock hands and God has an appointments to keep with us, just as we use the secular clocks to run our activities. No great mystery there.

I'm CONFUSED, how could the 4 Blood Moons you have listed have been a sign, when the event you list happened Before the blood moons?

19 and 48 are both used twice as well as 634.

1948 is certainly a significant year in that Israel became a nation again. 634 perhaps might be the rise of Islam?

I saw it on a Bible Prophecy website and it noted the time periods between the tetrads. Not saying this means anything. Could just be random numbers.

Very interesting. Haven't seen that before. What site was that?
