Research indicates that most people are better off investing in an inexpensive balanced index fund. That's the mutual fund that people are most likely to stay with over time.

Why dont they teach money at school.

There is a tradition of making students memorize long lists of trivia. Tradition changes slowly. Some schools are starting to teach trade skills in a more organized fashion. Making graduates more employable. Money skills should be added. Graduating from 12 1/2 years of school without knowing about inflation and index funds is silly in an era when people are expected to manage their own retirement plans (401k).

The rich don't work for money because they know it's fake.

The rich start banks, and print dishonest money (credit creation). Basically, they confiscate goods from the majority (via inflation), and then loan their own goods back to them. Making them debt slaves to rich bankers.

The poor are ruled by the rich, and those who borrow are slaves of moneylenders. Proverbs 22:7 CEV

Don't worry. Be happy.

It's all about turning the negative into a positive spin.

Instead of saying thousands of people in the country are homeless, can say 99.5 per cent of people in the country are homed and living in safe places.

I mean it would be better if it was 100%, but 99.5% is not bad.

Happiness is a choice. It comes from within, and doesn't depend upon external circumstances. If you want to be happy, just be happy.

Those who wait for the world to be perfect before they allow themselves to be happy may be waiting until Lord Jesus returns.

But happyness is just one of many human emotions. I don't know if someone can just choose to always be happy 24/7.

You see people like 50 and still energetic having fun like a child and loving life, it's probably because they have never been through or had any form of trauma in there life. No mental scars.

Uggghhhh
It's only Tuesday...sure wish it was Friday again. This week is going to drag by.

My wife is excited though. We got some new airbuds for our phones. She has meniers disease. But with these she can hear out of an ear she hasn't heard anything from for a while now.

I just went down the road and some old drunk man slurring his words said to me "hows it going", I said "ok", he said "are you happy", I said "sometimes", he said "im always happy". I said "if you say so".

I bet when he wakes up in the morning hes depressed.

No one is happy 24/7. Being generally content most of the time is the best you can expect.

Some people do need help to get over PTSD. Still, its a choice to get help, and get over it. To put the past behind them, and move forward.
