The eighth beast & 666

Hope I've got the proper place for this topic.

I know this will no doubt go in many direction quickly, but I just wanted share....

Of late in my personal studies I have begun to see a pattern that connects various entities mentioned in the scriptures.

In Rev 17:11 "The beast which was and is not, is himself also an eighth and is one of the seven, and he goes to destruction.

What I've seen is an interesting connection through math between this eighth one and the image of the beast and the mark.

I'd like to work backwards from the new city which is described as a perfect cube.

Rev 21:16 and the city lieth square, and the length of it is as great as the breadth; and he did measure the city with the reed -- furlongs twelve thousand; the length, and the breadth, and the height, of it are equal;

IF for a moment we consider that the 666 might also be used for a three dimensional illustration, what would that look like compared to a cube of 3 12's?

Well the cube measuring of 6 units would be 1/8th of the larger cube made of 12 units.

What could this mean for our understanding?

Perhaps all the efforts of man to create Kingdoms/Empires throughout the ages to rule the world and all creation is the greatest counterfeit effort ever seen of God's Kingdom. ( 2 Thess 1 & Daniel 2&3)

Each empire age equaling 1/8, or a cube of 6 units, and farther down if someone becomes part of that 'construction' they are a six sided brick used to build the system itself.

I try very hard to keep my posts as short as possible, but something that does make it harder to explain points coming out of left field!

The concept....that's a good question.

It seems to me everyone can be either of the of the righteous or the unrighteous. To have the 'name of the Lamb' or the 'name of the beast' on them. But what does that really mean.......what does it look like every day walking down the street?

I think it will help to understand my theory if you recall that I believe Christ's life and death marked the 'half of the week' and is when the sword stroke hit the one head. The beginning of the 42/1260/3 1/2 times. So my perspective is that much of these events were put into action a long time ago.

This sword event I understand to be the same event as in,
Rev 17:8 "The beast that you saw was, and is not,(sword stroke) and is about to come up out of the abyss( revived/healed) and go to destruction.

Rev 13:3 I saw one of his heads as if it had been slain, and his fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast.

Rev 13:11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth ; and he had two horns like a lamb and he spoke as a dragon. 12 He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. And he makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed.

Notice carefully the whole beast in Rev 13:12 is said to have healed from the fatal wound NOT just the one head any more.

(All the historical efforts of self government by the hands of men apart of God I see this as the 7 headed beast)

From my view the' two horned lamb beast' is the same beast as the 'eighth beast'.( I see this beast as Empire that claims to be Christian)
This force has been the dominant force on earth since Christ left and has formed a very powerful system that controls everything and everyone.
It's a very convincing system that many people believe in supporting in myriads of ways. It is a great 'false Christ/prophet' which I see as also the 'man of lawlessness' and typed in the image of Daniel 3 which they which they would not worship.

Okkkkk.......so where is the connection back to the number 666? This system is such a crafty attempt to entrap the believers, it has tried to make itself 'look' righteous, to'look like the 'new city', the only system of organization that works for humanity. (IF the 666 is for a cube measurement then a small point of interested, new city is also a cube)

But what is the new city Jerusalem really constructed out of???? It's made of PEOPLE righteous people, so like wise this worldly system is also only made of people.....people with the 'name of the beast' rather than the 'name of Christ' on them.

We are ether a stone cut by human hands used to construct this system or one molded by God to be used in the construction of his Holy City.

I think yours is over my head.....I'm kind of a keep simple stupid.....person. Sorry.
