Declaring the end from the beginning...
This is what makes the Bible unique. God has absolute foreknowledge of everything that will ever occur in the universe. But He decrees only some things for His own plans and purposes (e.g. the crucifixion of Christ).

The fulfillment of Bible prophecies is one of the strongest evidences that the Bible is divinely inspired -- that the prophets, evangelists, and apostles wrote under the total control of the Holy Spirit, so that every word in the original manuscripts was a word of God (written by holy men of God).

There is another thread which is on Psalm 22:1. Well that psalm was written around 1.000 BC and David wrote by the Spirit. But those would be the exact words of Christ as He suffered unimaginably on the cross, and that is what is recorded in the Gospels. The Father did "forsake" the Son for three dark hours while He was made Sin for us who knew no sin. The outpouring of God's wrath against sin is indeed a forsaking of the one subject to wrath.

Thank you Brother Nathan12 for your helpful instruction. Thank you as well for joining this Christian Forum of very serious lovers of the Scriptures. Just the little bit that you wrote, I can tell that you to love God's Word. I do hope that you'll help me with this theme of Abba Father restoring what man has messed up.

Since Christ Jesus (Yahshua) is on His way here, Abba Father is preparing His way....What do you think?

Thank You again,
Chopper

Yes, indeed. God the Father is preparing all things so that eventually the Lord Jesus Christ establishes the literal, visible, physical, tangible Kingdom of God on this earth for eternity. Following which He will hand back everything to the Father.

At the same time the Father has already designed, constructed, and established the New Jerusalem in Heaven, and all the saints who have passed on are there with Him at this very moment, with Christ, and the holy angels. That too will be a part of the eternal Kingdom of God, but the New Jerusalem will be a heavenly body giving light to the New Earth (in place of the sun), with God and the Lamb as the Light of it.

Getting back to the title of this thread, Christians sometimes fail to see how privileged they are, in that through the Word of God and the unction of the Spirit, they have been given insight into God's plans and purposes for eternity.

We know without the shadow of a doubt that God already sees His glorious Kingdom established on earth in spite of all the sin and evil which surrounds us. But our job right now is to bring the Gospel to every creature, so that many more will be within the Kingdom of God through the New Birth. And as Jesus said (Mt 24:14): And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

and all the saints who have passed on are there with Him at this very moment, with Christ, and the holy angels.

This I have to respectably disagree with you on this point. The only thing that returns back to God when we physically die is the very breath/spirit that God breathed in us making us a living soul.

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Genesis 3:19 in the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Ecc 12:7 then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Jesus made it very clear that no one has ever ascended up to the third heaven where God sits on His throne.

John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

Thank you Nathan12 for that excellent addition to our thread. You display a kindred spirit with Glory Girl (my name for her) and me. I can tell that you love the Word of God and have a good understanding of it. Your studies are paying off in giving forth what the Spirit of Elohim (God) has taught you and giving forth those lessons to benefit me and all those who study this thread. BRAVO my friend.

Keep um coming, we need your wisdom and knowledge....I'm reminded of the 10 virgins. Five were faithful and prepared for the return of Christ Jesus and were welcomed into that Kingdom that you mentioned and five were not and were rejected. O that all of CF.net members will wake up out of the enemy's snare and prepare themselves for the "restoration" of Almighty God!!

We have to keep in mind....Luke 17:26 & 27
Luke 17:26 "Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man.
17:27 They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all."

Notice the word entered, Abba Father is going (I believe) to restore His creation the way He wants it, to receive His Son.

Thank you again for teaming up with us to wake up those who Abba is calling.

I love You,
Chopper

Do you folk have anything to share at this point?
Getting back to the title of this thread -- THE END FROM THE BEGINNING --
1. Christians are reminded that they will not understand the book of Revelation (the end) without getting into the book of Genesis (the beginning). For example the end of Satan is prophesied in Genesis 3:15 and becomes a reality in Revelation 20:10. The time lapse between those two is over 6,000 years, but from God's perspective it is only over 6 days.

2. The foundation of the rest of the Bible and the Gospel is found in the book of Genesis. Therefore Bible-believing Christians must hold fast to the FACT that God created the universe in six literal 24-hour days. And just so that the naysayers would be stopped, He embedded that truth in the Ten Commandments, written with the finger of God.

3. Christians will not be tossed about with every wind of doctrine if they see that Christ is first presented as a type in Adam, and the Church in Eve (and then He is seen throughout the OT). When God put Adam to sleep, it prefigured the death of Christ. And Eve taken out of Adam's side, and made bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh, prefigured the Church, as we discover in the New Testament.

This is just to raise awareness that the Torah must not be studied in isolation from the New Testament and every line (if possible) must be connected to NT truth. Even Genesis 1:1 has a lesson for us in the Hebrew word Elohim translated as "God" (not gods). It is a uni-plural word which represents the triune Godhead (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). Therefore we read: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: (Gen 1:26). Even this verse has far-reaching implications in the NT.

NOTE: The Mormons regard the Book of Abraham as Scripture, and in that book the Genesis account says "Gods" (with a capital G). So for Mormons, the Godhead is not exactly the same as for Christians.

All I will say at this point is that John 3:13 is a greatly misunderstood and misapplied Scripture. But if you go to Hebrews 12:22-24, you will discover that all the saints who have passed on are now in Heaven, in the New Jerusalem. Of course Enoch and Elijah went to Heaven without physical death.

Hebrews 12:22-24 says nothing of anyone being in the third heaven where God, Christ and all His holy angels dwell. If you go back to vs. 5 and read through vs. 24 this is an exhortation to endure God's chastening. Those who are God's own from the beginning have their names written in heaven and we endure here on earth by seeking those things from above which is the Spiritual Jerusalem, Colossians 3:1-4.

Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Gen 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Enoch and Elijah are not in the third heaven where God sits on His throne. Many have always taught that they are, but scripture says different.

Gen 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Does not say Enoch was taken up to heaven, but that he was only translated that he should not see death at that particular time of his life and that he was not found. Should not see death means since Enoch walked with God he would not see the second death, Rev 20:6, but only that of the first death, Hebrews 9:27, as all his days were three hundred and sixty as he died, but no one knows where.

2Ki 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. (Heaven here means atmosphere, first heaven)

Elijah, having ascended into the air by a whirlwind was carried away out of sight beyond the horizon. Several years after he was taken away King Jehoram received a letter from him. How long after? There are some difficulties in figuring the exact chronology as it varies from 2 to 10 years or more. A note in Josephus (a Jewish historian of the first century A.D.) says 4 years, while the JEWISH ENCYCLOPEDIA figures it at 7 years.

Regardless of the exact number of years there came writing to Jehoram from Elijah the prophet, saying..." (2Chron 21:12). Now the wickedness of Jehoram, for which he was being rebuked in the letter, took place after Elijah was taken away, yet the letter speaks of these things as past events, and the punishment to come upon him as yet future. So the idea of some, that Elijah wrote the letter before he was removed by the whirlwind, is proved wrong.

Elijah was taken up by the whirlwind into the first heaven and transported to another location on Earth.

How do you say that when it is as plain as day? Kindly read it over again.

When you read the full context within the whole chapter you will see that from vs. 1-4 is an example of Christ's endurance while here on earth. Vs. 5-24 is about us forgetting to endure by being obedient to God's commands and how He chastises us from heaven. The heavenly Jerusalem is where we go to humble ourselves before God. Vs. 25-29 is the danger of refusing to be obedient to God.
