The Grand Canyon doesn't "reject the truth of Genesis." It rejects YE creationism. But that is a modern revision of Genesis, not God's word.

Entrenched meanders, deserts that supposedly had time to form and then be buried in the middle of the flood year, and many other features clearly refute a young Earth. But they in no way reject Genesis.
