It's true. Although it's a form of entertainment, it's also rather scary how much the internet knows about you. Like how Google is able to track your exact location and apparently YouTube can as well. The reason that I know this is because that every time I go to watch YouTube videos, it always shows me the closest concert to a certain artist that I'm listening to is. :eek2Of course I am logged in with my Gmail account every time that I go on it to post comments so that's probably the only reason that it can and somehow it collects my information through that I'm guessing. Strange and freaky at exactly the same time. :erm That's why I never give any personal information of mine out like my last name, city, address, phone number, and email address.

I'm pretty much a nobody as it is right now and I prefer to leave it that way thank you very much. I don't want to make the internet an even scarier place than it already is and I have my mother to thank for teaching me that bit of important information. :yes

It's from what they call cookies.

Bits of information stored on your device.
It's what drives the ads you see as well as the concerts advertised.

I see ones about books and electrical testing equipment and used cars.

It's good to not give out too much information on the internet.

It's not good to give out too much information in general. I mean, people wonder why there is identify thief when security or regulations are so tight you have to give more information into other hands.

It's like a never ending battle. The more security the more info you have to give, the more info you give the higher the chance of identity theft.

I got one more question. Can the things that you Google (like I did for finding more about my fiancée's case, get you arrested even if you haven't even been charged for a crime? Like can Google keep track of it and pass the information onto the FBI or something? It's a silly question Ik but it's also something that I have been a bit worried about.

HeIsRisen2018 - I think the police investigate search history, web activity when a crime has been committed to try to determine someones motive. I don't think just searching for something can get you arrested.

And most of the web tracking is for marketing purposes, to help sell you more stuff you probably don't need.

Okay thank you, I feel a whole lot better now since I accidentally typed stuff before and only looked up things to see what they meant. So sounds like I don't have anything to worry about then. :)

I've researched some crazy stuff before.

Like when I was watching the show about this fundamental mormen church guy who had several wives and kids. (All apparently happy)
I had to know more about this kind of thing.

And what I figured out was that the guy who was the husband was "hen pecked".
But that doesn't stop others from trying to do the same thing. Lots of people looking for spouses.
It's kinda insane...who in their right mind would want to be "second wife" or "third wife"?

Then there was all the kids...lots and lots of kids. What little time Dad wasn't controlled by the wives the kids controlled. The poor guy was not in control of even himself. All the wives getting jealous, kids getting out of control, never enough money, and constant worry about getting caught by authorities.
Not a pleasant lifestyle.
And that made me question it even more...
Why go through the hassle?

You know I was just wondering something. Does all of the random stuff that you say pop into your mind naturally and all planned out or do you just make it up as you go along? :lol

The stuff I memorize . I noticed a log cabin ,extremely unusual in my county but we do have them.i asked a lady about it.claimed it was 100 years old.posted a query on fb,seen a response of it in 70 year old topo where it's now by itself. My reason to believe it was old was from its fireplace being old clay brick. In my conversation about it old rt 60 came up.the maps of it I have seen etc .

Genesis 26: 34-35 -
34 And Esau was forty years old when he took to wife Judith the daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and Bashemath the daughter of Elon the Hittite:
35 Which were a grief of mind unto Isaac and to Rebekah.

I like that 2nd verse for a couple of reasons: the phrase "grief of mind" is very descriptive, it shows that even a grown child can disappoint their parents with their choices and its not really clear why it was a grief of mind. My guess is that its because Esau didn't follow the example of one man and one woman in marriage, but maybe they didn't like the daughters in law or their new-in-laws. Or all of the above?
