I still do not believe the mark of the beast is a physical mark that is visible on ones body but exactly what it is I do not know for sure. Please do your own research and let God teach you.
 
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Jesus has already taught us of those things that have to come first before He returns on the last day. It's up to each one of us to know what to expect as we watch and pray
until the coming of the Lord.

Whether the chip is the mark of the beast or not there is no way that the government is going to control me and force me to do anything that would allow my name to be erased from the Lamb's book of life.

From the sounding of the first trumpet to the ending of the seventh will be a time of great patience of the saints of God who are still alive at this time as we trust and endure all things until Christ returns on the last day making an end to all abominations on earth as we will ever be with the Lord.

The Seal of God is already here. But I don't think the Mark of the Beast is already here because as written in bible, everyone who receives the Mark of the Beast cannot be saved and will join Satan. The fact that we are still trying to get people to believe in Jesus means that the Mark of the Beast is still yet to come
 
IMO, what we are seeing in the world today are the beginning of sorrows that Jesus taught us about in Matthew 24. All those things have been on the rise throughout all the nations on every continent as even here in America. I believe we are about to see the sixth seal of Rev 6:12-17 opening very soon in God's timing as now is the time of being prepared for that which must come first before the return of Christ on the last day.

No one actually knows if the mark of the beast is literal, or just that of the thoughts of the mind and the actions of the hand. This will happen when the son of perdition being the false prophet/last antichrist takes his literal seat in Jerusalem when Satan is finally cast out of heaven in whom gives power to the beast out of the sea who in turn gives power to the beast out of the earth, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12; Rev 12, 13.

The stage is and has been being set for a long time and the players chosen that will deceive the world with lying signs and wonders to believe a lie that can deceive even the very elect of God if possible. It is God who withholds and will let within His timing.
