we seem to read and study more about Jesus when he was on the earth, then when he arose and taught Paul the mysteries that had been hidden in God since the world began.

Romans 16:25. Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began.

Romans 11:25-27. For I would not, brethren ,that ye, should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.And so all Israel shall be saved; as it is written,There shall come out of Sion the deliverer from Jacob:For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins

Acts 15:14-16 Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name. And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written. after thisI will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up

I believe this is talking about Cornelius the Gentile being saved. And about the body of Christ being formed.

What do these two words mean until and after this. I have a question is the body of Christ complete?

If the body of Christ is not complete than God has stopped his timeclock dealing with Israel until the body of Christ is complete. To me this is future.

I believe that the people in the first century thought that Christ was going to return in their generation. Jesus did not know when he would be coming again . Mark 13:24-26 But in those days after that tribulation the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light. And the stars of heaven shall fall and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. Mark13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven neither the son, but the father.

The Mystery that Jesus taught Paul would have been revealed when Jesus revealed to Paul the revelation of the Grace of God, "the gift of Righteousness", Romans 5:17 which is related to the mystery of the Incarnation.
In the OT, the prophets were told this was not meant for them.

To study this you might start with 1 Peter 1:9,10,11 & Galatians 1:11,12

1 Peter 1:9 receiving as the result [the outcome, the consummation] of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

10 Regarding this salvation, the prophets who prophesied about the grace [of God] that was intended for you, searched carefully and inquired [about this future way of salvation],

11 seeking to find out what person or what time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating as He foretold the sufferings of Christ and the glories [destined] to follow.

12 It was revealed to them that their services [their prophecies regarding grace] were not [meant] for themselves and their time, but for you, in these things [the death, resurrection, and glorification of Jesus Christ] which have now been told to you by those who preached the gospel to you by the [power of the] Holy Spirit [who was] sent from heaven. Into these things even the angels long to look.

Galatians 1:11,12

11:
Dear brothers and sisters, I want you to understand that the gospel message I preach is not based on mere human reasoning.

12: I received my message from no human source, and no one taught me. Instead, I received it by direct revelation from Jesus Christ.

The "mystery" portion of the N.T. is a difficult subject to grasp. Why? Because, primarily, it was Jesus who revealed that "devils" were within mankind. And these are "unseen" powers and the real power players behind the flesh, that the N.T. deals with.

There is the "mystery of iniquity" and "mystery Babylon" that is being observed, as to the present and past adversity of all mankind in the flesh.

And it becomes even more "mysterious" when it's observed that it was God who created "all powers," visible and "invisible" to begin with. Ultimately, God DID this in order to demonstrate Divine Mercy, and this requires the "contrast" of evil and wicked powers. Which is a very difficult matter to grasp, but it DOES show His Superiority in any case of sights.

I submit to the reality of the present construct, and it's Divine Purpose.

Theodicy, the study of evil in conjunction with a Divine All Powerful God is the most difficult subject matter in theology. But it is also the most interesting and fascinating aspect of the scriptures, and in life as well.
