The Nature Of Spirits

Ok so, we are spirit beings who have a soul and live in a flesh body, right? And at the same time that we are here in the natural realm...we are seated with Christ in heavenly places, at the same time. We know that God can be in multiple places at once, but apparently, so can we. Or else how could we be seated with Him in heavenly places and here at the same time? We just don't grasp how this is possible, but it is and I do believe it.

I have also heard it taught on, that we are in fact made out of light and scripture does say that we are to be the light of the world, and that we are to let our light shine before others. So I was thinking, if we're spirit beings who are made out of light and we can be in more places than one at a time, then it is just how things are in the Kingdom realm. Gods power made these things to be so, but they have a certain way that it works in general then in the Kingdom realm. Like heavenly Physics so to speak.

So I was thinking, we're largely electric in a way and the Kingdom realm probably has its own frequency. Now electric is phased. Here in the US we are on 60 Hz electric power. That means that the power supply changes polarity 120 times per second, 60 hz. ....Right? You with me still?

Maybe this is a clue of how can we be in more places than one at a time? Phasing in and out so to speak. Here in the natural, there in the Kingdom realm. We were born into the natural and have an affinity for it because we can see it, but since the veil of the temple was torn in two at the crucifixion, now ,maybe we are supposed to be with our spirit in the heavenly realm and not in the natural realm. ?? Does this make sense?

People give testimony of visiting the Kingdom realm. Taken in spirit and then we can see it. So...they phase out of the natural and into the spiritual realm? A lot of people have said that we are supposed to living under an open heaven, and yet, not many are but there are enough testimonies to make one lean towards hey this is true and we should be able to do this at will, I think. But why do some do it and others can not? I think it might be that we have to bring ourselves to a certain frequency and then we are able to have this open heaven? I think this is done by opening our heart to our Lord and approaching Him, internally, within ourselves.

Personally I don't think we are actually in two places at once. Being seated with Christ in the heavenlies to me always meant that we are in Christ, as United to Him. Just as we died with Him in the sense that he knew each of us personally, by name, when He hung on the cross, and were raised with Him for the same reason. Of course to see it this way I guess you would need to believe that He died for specific people, which is what I believe and I don't want to debate about that aspect, please.

I mistrust testimonies of people who claim to have gone to Heaven and come back. But that is just me. It is obvious that God set boundaries for mankind, just as He did the oceans. He set us within time and space, for the time being and maybe always, don't know. In any case, time and space will be restored from it's corruption that came about at the fall.
Your theories are certainly interesting and thought through like a genius, but probably we shouldn't be striving to break the time, space barrier before how time. LOL

He said that He only does what He sees the Father doing or says what the Father says, so if that is so, and Jesus also told us that all the things that He does we shall do and more, and that, as He is so we are on this earth. That's all scripture.

Jesus said that He will never leave us or forsake us. He's proven that to me several times! But if He never leaves us, then He is always there. So it isn't about visitation! It's about habitation. One guys testimony I listened to, He was told to, disrobe and a gesture of something similar to a superman thing, take his suit off fast and open the center. And when he did, bright light within shining forth. Described like how Jesus became, on the mount of transfiguration. He was then clothed in light.

This guy wasn't asking for money. Just posting his testimony and word. There's too many of these testimonies to not have a percentage of real and true ones within them all. We can't afford to deny the power of God being alive and well all over the earth right now. And why wouldn't all that unseen spiritual stuff be real and happening close to home, lol!

In Luke 4:30 I think this reads like, Jesus phased out on those people so they could not see Him or touch Him. They wanted to kill Him by throwing Him off of the cliff, and it was not yet His time, so He hid from them! And I believe that we all should be able to do such a thing (in Christ) and it has to be so, for us. Because, on earth as it is in Heaven...right?

When scripture speaks of light and darkness, it is referring to good and evil. Evil is not created but rather, evil is the absence of that which is created. We see this in the first two chapters of Genesis which God states in his cumulative work by describing it as "Very Good".

The Prophet Isaiah echos this sentiment by proclaiming that Israel was to be a light to the nations as expressed by Moses in Deuteronomy 4.

In essence, being a light means we are participating in Gods creative work. When we fail to do that work, we have not created darkness because darkness has always been the absence of light, and we know light always pierces through darkness. Darkness has no authority over light.

You would enjoy $cientology as what you say is foundational to their understanding. They believe that through proper auditing, you can metaphorically transport between time and space.

Time is simply the distance between two objects.

If Christ is in us, then we are one with Him and no distance exists.

Scientology? Hey you take that back, lol! They tried for me when I was a lot younger. Someone told them I like to read so they somehow made sure to get a copy of their early book into my hands...I read about 10 pages and then pitched it out as garbage.

There might be some similarities in this to their creed. Almost everything satan uses is some sort of counterfeit something that was of God first and they twist it.

The scripture you referred to Edward, in John 14 that says we will do all the things that Jesus did and more. First He was talking to His disciples and I am not sure He meant all believers but maybe He did. Time and history have shown that He did not mean what you suggest, though I admit it sounds like it. The apostles did do some of the things Jesus did. Healing, casting out demons, raising the dead but scripture clearly states that was for the purpose of authenticating that they were sent by Jesus and their teaching, the spreading of the Gospel, carried His authority. The disciples, and no one else has ever done MORE than Jesus. So might He have meant more in extent ( spreading the good news around the world) rather than more in power?
Remember this too that just because many people have claimed to have gone to heaven or done other miraculous things does not mean a certain percentage of them must be true. And just because they don't ask for money does not mean what they say is true.
There are many things that belong to our salvation that will be realized in the future, after all things have been restored or we leave this earth through whatever means. For now we live our life, fully saved, but not yet having attained what is in the future, within the boundaries of time and space that God has set for us.
There are, I know, many preachers and teachers who claim to be able to do the mighty works that Jesus did, and even say we should all be doing them. But have you noticed, it is only a few select, famous, with huge congregations, and buckets and buckets of money and gluttonous life styles? If Jesus said we would all be doing greater things in power than He did you can bet your bottom dollar that is what we would be doing. We wouldn't have to learn how. We wouldn't have to follow a formula or give money or have more faith. Just saying. That's how I feel about it.
And of course Jesus is always with us and the Holy Spirit is our help and teacher and comforter. We have been given all that we need for this part of our life. We have security that we will never have to face the wrath of God because we have been purchased by the blood of Jesus. We are in a covenant relationship with God that assures us He will care for us and see us safely Home, to Heaven, where the full inheritance is laid up for us.

We are in the heavenly realm if we are walking in the Spirit while being here on earth, but if we are walking in the flesh then we are walking in the worldly kingdom of the principalities of this world.

Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

When I read this verse I understand it to say that we can not go above what Christ has already done and said here on earth as God has given Him what to say, John 12:49, 50, as He gives us what to say by His Holy Spirit. Greater works will we do IMO means there are more of us to continue in and carry on the works of Christ as we can reach out further region wise than what He could while here on earth. In all reality it is Christ through us being the light unto the nations as we let the light of Christ shine through us.

As far as some of these testimonies I can only account for my own when I was caught up in the Spirit and taken to a spiritual realm of God, but yet still being here on earth. I experienced the most beautiful bright light with a very vague image that I could not make out and a warmth that engulfed me as I heard the words of Christ speak to me. Whether it was Him or an angel He used to talk to me I do not know, but do know I was surrounded by the presence of His glory as He told me He had works for me to do.
