Well I'm single again and kind of glad to be too :ohwell . The relationship was going very very good for a while, I don't know why though but she just stopped talking to me as much, I guess she lost interest, it was just so confusing and it really hurt my feelings. It took me three weeks to get over my sadness, and to get over her. Yesterday though we told eachother everything, and none of use wanted to go out anymore.

Its a little dissapointing though, I still have no clue what made her just stop liking me.

Its all good though I guess, I'm still a little upset, but at least I'm off the rollarcoaaster of emotions :tongue

And I seriosly need a break, I've gone out 4 times this year, the longest time I was single was for a month, and it cost me more then 100$ bucks in total, for dates and gifts and stuff!

Also I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaateeeeeeeeee breakups :bigfrown

Well, I'm sorry that you're upset; but, as you said, you need a break.

I've been going out with my girlfriend for 6 months (starting tomorrow) and things have totaled up to way more than $100 lol, bro. :crazy

I've been drawing A LOT recently. Also, I'm writing two stories at the moment, too. I've actually been working pretty hard at it :yes

http://nalini-dahlia.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2rb7i9 -that's basically what I've been working on.

http://s205.photobucket.com/albums/bb23 ... g&newest=1 here's another thing I drew recently, too.

On the link to photobucket, ignore the fact that I'm logged in XD I could not figure out how to find my pictures without logging in so..yeah...

I've also spent these last few days daydreaming about what my senior trip should be. I'm homeschooled, by the way (random fact because I'm new :lol ).

Here's something else I drew, just not SO recently...http://s205.photobucket.com/albums/bb23 ... g&newest=1

I really need to go out and do something, but I just don't feel like it :shrug

P.s. 7ruth, sorry about your girlfriend! I've never had a boyfriend, but I do know that it hurts to all of a sudden get the cold shoulder.

Wow, those are really good! I'm into creating websites, and have got the Adobe Web Premium CS4 suite, but I wouldn't mind trying my hand in Illustrator/Photoshop doing drawings like that. Do you have any tips?

I like writing some short stories as well. I don't do it heaps often, but I like it. It seems to be my strenght in English class.

A lot of people on this forum seem to be homeschooled or support homeschooling. I'm sorry to say that I'm not one of them. I respect people's ideas to choose what education they want their kids to have, but I myself wouldn't choose it for myself or my kids. How is it though? We don't get many homeschoolers in Australia, it seems they're all holed up in the US!

Thanks! I've been drawing my whole life. My advice: practice, practice, practice! You could look up photoshop tutorials online, too. Sorry if that's not very helpful...lol

I will tell you something about homeschooling...it is THE best thing my parents have ever done. And my parents are pretty awesome, so that's saying a lot. But, home schooling is not AS affective if you're not part of a tutorial. My tutorials are both Christian too! I'm not saying that public school is bad, but I'd definitely do some research on home schooling if I were you. One reason I say this is because I know so many people who's lives have sucked pretty hard because of public school. But then, America's public schools are horrible. Australia might be completely different.

My parents have given us the choice, though. I will say that I'm a very smart student, thanks to all the extra time I get to spend on learning things!

Some people are REALLY not suited to home schooling though...

I have thought of online tutorials, and that's probably the route I'll take. Any technical tips though? Like, what's the best tool to use to draw? I'm sure I'll find this out on tutorials though.

I'm not denying that homeschooling is terrible - I realise that homeschooling, private and public schools all have their pros and cons. I guess homeschooling you get more control and more one-on-one tutorials, but in public/private schools you get more of the community and diversity, and probably more choice and more funding. Yes, there are drugs, alcohol and smoking at my public school, and it's a pretty good public school, but I wouldn't give up the great learning we get there for a lot. Private schools are pretty good as well - you pay a lot more but get a lot more resoucres and is better disciplined, but as I say, you have to pay a lot for it. And as a side note there can be lots of snobs at private schools :lol.
I prefer the 'real-world' public schools. I just see some people that are in these mega-snobby private schools and some homeschoolers and think "you're gonna get a real big shock when you leave school and enter the real world". I'm not saying you're like that, but I see it a lot. But each to their own.

I definitely agree with what you've said. My home school tutorial is actually kinda similar to a public school, only it's actually considered to be a private school(?), except it's got Christian leadership. The leadership gets kinda annoying but we get 30 minutes to have worship, which is pretty cool.

My other school is really cool, too. The teachers are so smart. (Rob Shearer, the history teacher I brought up before works there) It's filled with genius-geeky-computer-nerds. We all talk about Zelda, The Epic of Gilgamesh, and stuff like that.

About the photoshop thing, my favorite tool is the paint brush. I like setting it on multiply. You should experiment with all of it. I'm trying to think of what to tell you, but it'd be so much easier if I could show you in person or something. Maybe I should learn how to record me drawing on photoshop or something...?

We've got some private schools around here that are Christian, and I'm talking actaully activly Christian, not just saying they're Christian. They're really good. I wouldn't mind teaching at one or two of them later.

There's heaps of video recording software that will record your screen. I've got CamStudio, it's free and many others are too. You could probably get some commerical ones that woudl be awesome as well. And thanks for the tip! :)

Luckily, I have a dad who works on computers and is a computer-genius so I'm sure he can help me with that.

One more thing. I use a pen tablet called a Wacom. It's expensive, but it's worth it. I actually got mine for free :biggrin

Nice. :) I'm the computer genius in our family. Sometimes I wish someone could help me. :biggrin

Is that like a graphics tablet? One of my friends has one, and she's really into computer art. It's pretty awesome aye? :) Wouldn't mind one of those.

Aye! lol it is awesome. It was really hard to get used to, but now there's not much to it.

Something I've been up to lately is thinking about playing a video game. Thinking gets me so far.... :gah I just need to trun the Xbox on and play, but I just haven't gotten around to doing. Personally, I'd more rather play a game on the PC but~ we all know how computers can be =.=

I like playing Thief II and Thief III, and the Sims 2. Video games are fun!

I prefer my Xbox 360 than PC for gaming, probably becasue you don't constantly have to update the graphics card etc. But PC will always have better graphics. I'm a realy Call of Duty person. Halo's pretty good, and I'd recommend Far Cry 2 as a great FPS.

I really like games that are....well, can't think of a way to describe it. I like Zelda, though. And games where you have be more on the sneaky side then just up and killing people, like Thief.

I also like games I can hack into, and playing on the computer makes that MUCH easier. My brother downloaded Ocarina of Time on the computer, and I hacked into it and made Link fly! I gave him a black tunic, too. He could hover and be invinsible!! Ahh it was so cool. Made the game MUCH easier to play.

To be honest, I've been seriously lonely lately. My best friend moved out of her house, and not even her brother has gotten to talk to her much. It makes me sad. I really don't have anyone to talk to. That's why I joined this site!

Nick, you got Xbox Live? My gamer tag is: Ian The Epic

Well I guess I just like killing people and blowing up stuff. :biggrin. But I reckon there's more tactic than that. But each to their own.

Although I will admit that PC games are easier to hack. I've got F.E.A.R. on PC and that's great to hack, as the campaign's difficult.

Not Live. But I'm thinking of getting it sometime later this year. What games do you play?

Well, thank ya! I'll keep this in mind for now on. :)

Btw, I like the name "Ian The Epic." You should just introduce yourself to people that way! XD That would be funny! :lol

Hmmm I've met quite a few guys who love blowing things up...must be a guy thing. Except, I have learned that the funnest way to play Super Smash Brothers is by blowing yourself up the whole time :biggrin

My brother plays so many video games! I actually typically like watching them more then playing, but there are definitely a few I like to play.

I know a few girls who love blowing things up. :biggrin

Haha, I'm not surprised. I probably would enjoy it more if I gave it a try...*lights a bomb*

You know, I actually will admit that I've kinda gone on about stealthy games and stuff like that but I actually like a whole other kind of video game...I actually personally like playing games that just suck. I don't know why, I've always had a strange obsession with games that were just horribly lame. I guess a good example would be The Berenstain Bears Camping Adventure...I think it was for the SNES...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kY-diuc24G4 watch the video. This is what I actually like playing. Isn't that sad?

Another one that is extremely sad to admit is Michael Jackson's Moonwalker for the Sega Genesis.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lF89npFbn8g haha, watching that video is actually kind of painful...

My most favorite-ist game ever is this stupid Basketball game for the Sega Genesis. It had horrible graphics! My sister and I would play that game endlessly most of the time just because it is soooo awful. The basket ball players actually talk randomly and it's impossible to understand. :lol Just thinking about the game makes me crack up laughing. Sadly, I don't know the name of it...

Edit: I FOUND IT! Yay! Here's a link to a video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHcntjsvjS4 It's more funny when my sister and I play it, cause we were so bad at it.
