Greetings,

For the first time ever online you'll be able to freely study the original English translation of the Scriptures in current go-spelling.
It's even researched that over eighty-five percent of the Authorized Version's New Testament and the first half of the Old Testament are taken directly from Tyndale’s -- albeit unacknowledged.

http://faithofgod.org

The five books of Moses were translated by William Tyndale in 1530.
The Old Testament is based on Mathews Bible by John Rogers 1537 that seems to have compiled and revised Tyndale's translation work till 2 Chronicles, before his martyrdom,
and the rest of the books from Miles Coverdale 1535 translation.

(Also includes a few extra variants based on the Hebrew Scriptures.)

The New Testament is the first English translation from the original tongue by William Tyndale 1525-6. The Gospell off Matthew is the W. T. Cologne quarto 1525 fragment that only goes up til Chapter 22.
The rest of the N. T. is the W. T. Worms octavo edition of 1526.
Variants are based on Mathew's 1537 Bible that uses W. T. 1535 N.T. edition.
(1John additional variants are from a 1531 exposition)

This rare English translation was originally in Chapter - paragraph form; and now is here devided into standard verse form; and brought into modern spelling while retaining archaics and including divers revision alternatives for edification.

To God be the glory for his son Iesu the Messias our salvation.

:biggrin You may also read Foxe's book of martyrs online too.,by
John Foxe. It's very good.

There is an older version of the scriptures than Tyndale's--Wycliffe's version (c. 1395.)

CAP 1
1 In the bigynnyng was the word, and the word was at God, and God was the word.
2 This was in the bigynnyng at God.
3 Alle thingis weren maad bi hym, and withouten hym was maad no thing, that thing that was maad.
4 In hym was lijf, and the lijf was the liyt of men; and the liyt schyneth in derknessis,
5 and derknessis comprehendiden not it.
6 A man was sent fro God, to whom the name was Joon.
7 This man cam in to witnessyng, that he schulde bere witnessing of the liyt, that alle men schulden bileue bi hym.
8 He was not the liyt, but that he schulde bere witnessing of the liyt.
9 There was a very liyt, which liytneth ech man that cometh in to this world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was maad bi hym, and the world knew hym not.
11 He cam in to his owne thingis, and hise resseyueden hym not.
12 But hou many euer resseyueden hym, he yaf to hem power to be maad the sones of God, to hem that bileueden in his name; the whiche not of bloodis,
13 nether of the wille of fleische, nether of the wille of man, but ben borun of God.
14 And the word was maad man, and dwellyde among vs, and we han seyn the glorie of hym, as the glorie of the `oon bigetun sone of the fadir, ful of grace and of treuthe.

Those who tried to destroy the holy truth about God could not
destroy it,and because of good men like Wycliffe,we have the holy
bible in a langiage we can understand. Praises belong to God,amen.
