If you read thru this thread, I don't understand what you're talking about.
I'm sorry,
I admit, this whole thread is a bit over my head as im not really acquainted with what your point is, let alone what your pushing against.

I wasn't sure, but a few things you wrote made it sound like your we're saying the priests in Jesus day we're not from Aarons line. That is why I posted above.

If I've misunderstood, my apologies.

As a favor, would you mind breaking your first post down for somebody like myself that doesn't have your knowledge in this area as to help me and others to get a better grasp of what your point is.

I don't need to read anything. I know the history. The line of Aaron ended during the Greek period, aka the abomination of desolation (Dan 8:11 & Dan11:22), which Malachi chapter 2 proves.
Can you provide a date for us that need it as a reference?

Try reading Malachi chapter two and tell me what it says.

And I feel like you're playing me for a fool.
I wish you wouldn't feel that way and I am oblivious as to what I've done to make you feel this way.
How can I address you as not to cause you to feel that way? And what have I said that caused you to feel that way?

My intent is to reconcile with you, my brother in Christ. But how can we reconcile if I don't know my offence?

My wife just got home, and we are leaving to see our daughter and our newborn grand daughter. I tell you the truth.

I thought the topic was Malachi chapter two.
When did it become your love for me?

Well since luke 2 was posted ,the fact that Jesus was circumcised by a false priest would be a problem and He also upon,His death would not have the temple veil rent in two as God would have already not entered such a defiled place ,this doesn't mean the Pharisees were right and not corrupt only that it since the Herodian temple wasn't cleansed first to be accepted .

Who circumcised Jacob and his sons? And who built the 2nd temple, Herod?

Galations 6
Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

If I've done you wrong, id like to know about it so I can make it right.

The topic is Malachi chapter two. Don't be like the Pharisees who loved to quote scripture and not know it. The spirit of God fell on Samson as it did on the NT believers. All that glitters is not gold.

The topic my be Malachi, but the issue is between you and I.

Good night. I'm not here to discuss people.
But we will discuss how your treating people. If you won't communicate with me in private message, then it will remain in the public eye.

I would like to know what I have done against you that you respond so bitter to me and you treat me like a tax collector or gentile. I think you owe me that much.

Third,

Might want to learn that the zerrubabel temple was razed by the selucud and by the. Time Jesus came it was still being built,it was bigger and more magnificent then the second one.

Zerrubabel was Not a priest ,he was the son,of David as his father was a relative of the royal line but not cursed.

You,are trying to make this work ..

For others,

The son of Jared of the line of a levite from,Aaron .he cleanses the temple .also the priests in herods temple were used by God to circumcise Jesus as the prophets who saw the babe would have been in,sin as well they were there at the presentation to,the priest to see the circumcision .

One being a daughter of Asher ,fakers wouldn't care for the lineage.

This thread smells of the khazae Jew theory and tries to disprove the historic events.what exactly was the land where Jesus was?
Was it idumea?no that was the south, his family conquered it but didn't exactly change the name ,he ruled it as at client state under rome and built, the temple to appease the Jews.

He had yes men but these were slain and replaced by priests taught by hillel. Those did go south but not all .

The father of john the Baptist had to present his son john to,the high priest.john, the Baptist railed against the Pharisees and herod phillip.how on earth when circumsiom must be done by holy men would it accepted by God is that ignored.

Of course He could have allowed false or sinful priests to do it but saw the heart of the parents and used them.at some point for them to car a faithful rabbi or priest would be teaching.

God kept such ,even in those days.

Luke 2.
It mentions they brought Jesus to the temple, offered as listed for them.that implies sin if they knew that to be a lie.

Next ,the apostle Paul went to the temple to take on,the nazarite vow,he offered the legal requirements .he sinned when he said I became a jew,he was a Pharisee, he was a benjamite .not a priest ,knew the law as taught by gameliel.

I,highly, doubt paul would not be aware of your idea if true given he was well versed.most Jews then and today in schul were taught the Torah,Paul was selected for yeshiva.he was a rabbi and as such learned the prophets, the writings and spent time under a rabbi ,gameliel.as such he knew more then the others.unlikely given that Paul would act like that if your idea was true.
