John the Baptist said:
Well, seeing that Peter is your rock, you are lost! For in Acts 4:12 Peter himself differs with you!

Are you talking to me John? How does Acts 4:12 differe from me? Does it contradict Matt 16:18? No it does not John. See if you can follow this. Paul says Jesus is the foundation. 1 Cor 3:11. Your a big boy, you can look them up. Now Eph 2:20, who does it say is the foundation John? APostles and prophets as I recall with Christ the cornerstone. So is it any contradition that Jesus is the foundation and prophets and apostles are the foundation. None at all John. You see you present what is called a false dichotmy. Christ works through men. He says "he who hears you hears...." I'll let you finish it John. Similarly Jesus says in John's Gospel that he is the light of the world. He also says to his followers "you are the light of the world". So who is the light of the world John. More contradictoins or do you just put your head in the sand and wait for an opportunity to use one verse or the other against whomever disagrees with you. You don't understand Christ John. You don't understand the Bible if you present such ridicouluos dichotomies as arguements.

Blessings though

[quote:7d716]OH, and the number of Christian martyr's that were killed by Rome? According to Fox Book of Martyr's, it was upward of 150 000 000, & it states that, that might be a low number.

Ah yes, the infallible Fox. Since protestants have a fluid canon, I submit that you should make him the 28th NT book.

Does anyone else think that this constant back and forth attack mode is getting a little out of hand? I certainly do. Can we try and behave like Christians?
