the season of hope

Once again we focus in on the time when Christ was born and it seems like hope is everywhere. Hope is such a great feeling and what is so great about Hope?

11 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
4 By faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did. By faith he was commended as righteous, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead. Heb. 11


So many people I have heard express doubt about their faith. Do I have enough to be saved? Do I have enough to be healed? Satan that Father of the Lie is at work in the world he could be likened to the unholy spirit but he is actually the false prophet. He is like the Holy Spirit who is our comforter the false prophet causes us discomfort by telling those lies that we are not worthy and all the other lies he has directed at you and me. You see the fruit of this false prophet preparing the way for Satan. Denying Christ, leading men into sin and all the violence and distrust and his major weapon hopelessness. But we do not have to mourn like those who have no hope because we have been given that hope in God's free gift of Faith to each of us that allows us to have the only Hope of all men, Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas to you.

Faith is what we hope for. Some of the things I hope for are Christ's return, all of our departure from here to the Fathers House. Closer walk with with my Lord and more knowledge of Him. The list is long but my Father can do all that and more than I can imagine in this body. Thank you Lord for coming and your gift of eternal life to be with you.

Anything your hoping for?

I hope my book sells, but more importantly I hope our Lord is glorified and honors my attempt to introduce Christ back into Christmas. I hope I didn't take too many literary freedoms and remained true to our Lord. I hope it makes enough to deliver us financially to make me a productive member of society, freeing me from this twilight zone of disability. I hope the book is a blessing for me and whoever reads it.

If we continue to put on that full armor of God then we will be able to stand against the principalities that rule this world as God always gives us the victory over Satan who only wants to steal our faith, Ephesians 6:10-18.

Jesus, you are the only reason we need to celebrate this time of year, and not only at this time, but everyday as it's all about you being our Lord and Savior through God's grace and mercy.

Don't get me wrong almost all of Scripture ties for my favorite there are some absolute favorites and some that come in a close second to favorites. I like Scripture and I know you do as well from talking and reading your things but you inspired me to send you one of my absolute favorite verse and the rest of the chapter is sensational. To be this gracious us to us just by accepting us through His Holy Son He lets us know the highlighted portion below.


4 Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. 2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God. 3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. 6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,”[a] made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.


7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. 11 For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body. 12 So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.
You living in this, body of death as Paul calls it, and struggling is what reveals God to men and Glorifies Him as it is His power that fights for us in the battle Heb. 12 to bring a harvest of righteousness out of this for you. From the sounds of things the battle rages as in all of us and you have been glorifying the Lord and one day the battle is the work He is doing in us as the evil one attacks and tries to tears us down. Be strong the battle belongs to the Lord. Way to go and Merr

Thank you for those scriptures. Like I said our hope is that we will always be pleasing to the Lord in what He has already spoken that God gave Him to speak and in which we teach others by the Holy Spirit working in us and through us that we speak all things in truth according to God's word.

Hope is great for me, because it helps me be prepared always and makes our heavenly home more worth it.
