Hey guys, it's two weeks until Independence Day from today and it's now time for my Independence Day celebration as promised. :biggrin This year we celebrate America's 243rd birthday! :wootSo it's time to celebrate our freedom with a bunch of patriotic favorites and I will also go ahead and start up the virtual grill and you can let me know whether you would like a virtual hotdog, hamburger, or cheeseburger. :biggrin2 Oh yeah and on July 4th I will go ahead and post the livestream of Macy's Fireworks' Spectacular! :sohappy Happy Independence Day everybody! :biggrin

Also just a quick note: Don't forget about my second annual Christmas in July celebration thread starting on July first! :biggrin2

A hot dog made out of turkey. Its supposed to be healthier than the regular pork ones.

Really? I never even heard about it before. I will go ahead and look for it at the virtual grocery store then and virtually grill it up for you in a little bit since I'm a tad bit busy right now. :) Don't forget though, this is only virtual calories that we're talking about. :wink

Sorry about that Michael I have all my virtual supplies now that I bought at the virtual grocery store but I have to ask you a couple questions first. First of all how would you like you virtual burger cooked and what would you like to have on it? Second of all what would you like to drink? While I'm waiting for you to answer I have some more patriotic favorites. :biggrin2

Hey Tessie welcome to the party! :wave Would you like a virtual burger or dog? And something to drink? Also even though this thread is supposed to celebrate America, now I have to give some love to our British brothers and sisters. :biggrin2

And for us Americans same song just different lyrics. :lol

Story time,
Back in the day when I was much younger and drunker...
I was sitting in my favorite watering hole.
And I liked this place because of the liberal pours and the talent of the singers. The one who actually turned pro was really good at making himself sound like the original star who made his songs famous...like Billy Joel and etc...
One night I was thinking that he was really sounding like Lee Greenwood...and in my stupor I noticed that it was really getting crowded in there...
So I kinda stood up on my barstool to gawk at the stage just to see Lee Greenwood actually singing as an impromptu freebie concert.

I live in Nashville...go figure.

Hey John welcome to my party,.. I'm sorry for the delayed response but I was just trying to hold myself back from giving somebody (and you know who) on here a virtual knuckle sandwich! *cracks knuckles* :angry3 Anyways, although I did wind up blowing my top a little bit I really think that I am improving when it comes to controlling my anger. :) So Tessa, your hotdog is ready and John what would you like to eat and drink?

Also we have ketchup and mustard if you would like to use it. :)

Also please let me know if there is anything you would like to drink and I will go ahead and get you a plate as well. :) In the meantime here is some more patriotic hits as well as a new song that I am obsessed with this year that could also fit. :wink

I like my burgers well done, to zap any germs on them. Ketchup for a topping, and Ginger Ale to drink. Virtual food is virtually tasty.

Coming right up good sir! I will go ahead and throw your burger onto the virtual grill and it will cook while I set out the plates and napkins. :biggrin By the way, does anybody have any real plans for Independence Day yet? If the weather is nice I'm going to go to the fireworks but that's pretty much it I think. :neutral

Everybody go ahead and grab your supplies and JohnDB you still need to tell me,.. burger or dog?

By the way Tessa, did you know that your National Anthem and one of my patriotic songs were actually the same tune? :eek2Maybe that's because America was born out of England. :chin

I usually just sit on the porch, and watch the fireworks that neighbors set off. If I'm in the mood that day.

That's nice but where I live it's illegal even though people still set them off and I watch them anyways. Here's your drink though and would you like a hamburger or cheeseburger?
