You can be a theological expert and not know how to communicate your heart to God.

That is impossible. Its like saying someone with an official driving licence cannot cannot drive, there are exceptions. If the spirit can show you how to be a theological expert then i am sue he can teach you how to pray. Even atheists know how to pray.

Actually Prycejosh1987, it's not only possible, but is occurring all the time.
It's head knowledge, that never reaches the heart.
You can see it and hear it in most any church you go to, or hear it on TV from most every TV Evangelist.

It's called legalism and rule keeping without any connection between the persons heart and God.

It's called playing the "God game", and speaking the"Christaineeze" language.

Where do you think the term "HYPOCRITE comes from when the church or members are described by Non-believers
as hypocrites.

Sometimes those outside the church have a clearer vision of church members than church members have of themselves.

Many have book learning and even if they can quote every scripture it does not mean a theologian has Spiritual understanding or the love of God in their heart. Pharisees and the scribes come to mind as they were lovers of self.
