Oh my goodness. I didn't realize the lyrics before. Very appropriate for people. I'm gonna add a video to express how people should feel in marriage. :)

Hi Mark, may I ask what is your purpose of putting this song up on this particular thread?
It's about how married people should be and the first two songs edify married couples.
But your song by Meatloaf is all about sex and lust for sex.
Am I missing something?
Is this Meatloaf song your idea of a happy marriage?
Do you want to talk about it?
Because this is the right forum to be talking about these things.

Sure
Tennille filed for divorce from the Captain in the State of Arizona on January 16, 2014, after 39 years of marriage. the Captain was unaware of the termination of his marriage until he was served with the divorce papers.

Stop right there!
I gotta know right now!
Before we go any further!
Do you love me?
Will you love me forever?
Do you need me?
Will you never leave me?
Will you make me so happy for the rest of my life?
Will you take me away and will you make me your wife?
Do you love me!?
Will you love me forever?
Do you need me!?
Will you never leave me!?
Will you make me happy for the rest of my life!?
Will you take me away and will you make me your wife!?
I gotta know right now
Before we go any further
Do you love me!?
Will you love me forever!?

But corrupt minds hear what they wish to hear?

The love you are describing is lust.
You are too blind to see it.
And the 1975 song written by Neil Sedeka is as true today as it was then, regardless of who is divorcing who.
And the words of lust in your song are as lustful today as when it was first written.

What I'm seeing now is that you feel personally attack.
Tell me what I said that makes it a personal attack?

And the guy Replied!

I couldn't take it any longer
Lord I was crazed
And when the feeling came upon me
Like a tidal wave
I started swearing to my god and on my mother's grave
That I would love you to the end of time
That I would love you to the end of time
I swore that I would love you to the end of time!
So now I'm praying for the end of time
To hurry up and arrive
'Cause if I gotta spend another minute with you
I don't think that I can really survive
I'll never break my promise or forget my vow
But God only knows what I can do right now
I'm praying for the end of time
It's all that I can do
Praying for the end of time, so I can end my life with you!!

In fairy tail land marriage is about modern love otherwise it's un-natural and thus we get gay marriage.
If you are not attracted to you wife then quit acting like a virgin monk?
Guys aka Males with healthy doses of testosterone act like self centered jerks with only one thing on their minds.
If you got married because you are Lusting after your wife then it's a win win otherwise correct your thought patterns.
The Marriage/Bed is un-defiled so there is NO MORE SIN OF LUST! The 2 becomes 1 Flesh!

True Love is

It's a sin to be so sexually actracted to your wife you want to act on it?

Point me to that bible verse.and looks and hormones are a part of any marriage but they aren't the glue as these fade.

My wife wants me to have that for her.it's normal it means I do find her atractive.it's how they see it!he loves me because he tells me,compliments me and touches me.

Also the Love Word.
Then we have the Making Love, We in Love so we getting Married, We No Longer in Love so we getting a divorce?

True Love, your vows, contract, or it's the completion of you contract(till death do you part) you made before God?

I had such a crush on Tennille when I was a kid. She was definitely for that time & place, cause I don't think they'd make it today. I definitely wouldn't fall for her today.

Meatloaf. What a weird dude. I read his autobiography a few years ago, thinking he must have matured over the years. Nope. He still has the mindset of a pre-teen. That said, I found his inclusion in this discussion amusing. Allen Wynne I think Mark's first post was meant in good fun. That's the way I took it. :yes

Thank You LoventhroughDove............

My husband passed away 2 years ago, and he was such a good husband , he knew me inside and out before I knew
what I wanted he knew......... I told him I was going home first since I was 2 months older, he said no he was and he did.

He was always right....... and now I realize I loved him more then I knew...... I pray he felt the same for me.....
