Does anyone ever listen to these? This is a genre of podcasts where real crimes, murders, and such are investigated. Some examples are "Serial", "Sword & Scale", "Criminal", and "Undisclosed".

This genre has exploded in the last 5 years. Serial is often cited as the catalyst for its popularity. My wife got me hooked on them by listening to both seasons, and I've blown through many since then. Currently I'm chipping away at the 82 episodes of Sword & Scale.

Warning. If you start, you'll likely get hooked. It is amazing how many twisted people there are or have been. These shows have an almost infinite amount of stories to cover.

I'd try Serial. That's the mother of all shows that started millions of listeners. There's all kinds of copycats. If you look for it, go with just plain "Serial". The app icon looks like a black deck of cards with a red S. You have to listen to this one in order, so start with Season 1, episode 1. :thumbsup
