not blind faith. not positive thinking+selected Bible verses. not even the most complete, thorough theological perspective.

true faith.


even before I got genuinely saved--I"m thinking that was more God's work than mine; maybe it always is?--that's one thing I liked about Christians, real ones...true faith. Not "it'll be OK" or even "everything happens for a reason," but solid, real, true faith in Christ and Him Crucified. and so...

that's what I'm praying for, for me and for other Christians who hit dark spots and low points and aren't the strongest in the faith ever. Because...true faith in the One, True, Living God...changes people. I had a life/existence of chaos and misery, plus i was a weakling. I yearn for true faith in part because of The Biblical promise that a foundation built on solid rock will withstand the tides, and that those who put faith in Him shall be as mighty oak trees...

and, honestly, because the world really does change so much, and the people in and of it...they change, too. some go with the flow, some grow bitter, some retreat. broad road, broad road, broad road. nothing revolutionary, nothing that genuinely transforms, in the world. so...

Yes.

We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death. 1 John 3:14 NKJV

God is love. Those who have genuine faith in God love God and His children.
