A bit obscure but... The Sarah Jane Adventures. The actress who played Sarah Jane died halfway through filming so I get why it was canceled but there was a lot of life left in that show.

Loved Monk but I think it ended really well.

I liked how they wrapped up everything with Monk. It was a good laugh when Randy said he was moving East to be with Sharonna

We actually had to stop watching Monk because of the language. Our boys started repeating some of the things Sharonna kept saying. Kind of a frustrating decision to make, cuz I did like the show, but it was necessary.

Nah, that had a pretty good run. At minimum if a sitcom can last 4-5 years, I think it had a pretty good run. It is rare for one to reach the 8-9 year mark (examples: friends, seinfeld).

That being said, I have seen some where even one season was way too long.

Married with children went 11 seasons I think, but I was never a fan.

cheers had over 10. sitcoms, yeah those aren't like they used to be.i felt that st:enterprise had it had better writers would have lasted at least seven seasons.

I think MASH was probably my all time favorite sitcom. It went a long time, 11 seasons IIRC

Yep. And you can see the flavor of the show change as time went on, it got darker towards the end. I'm a geek, I have the boxed set of all the TV seasons and the movie.

It did but was still a great show. I watch it on youtube or projectfreetv sometimes. They shouldn't have killed off Henry Blake though! and Trapper John should have stayed. I heard he left because he felt like he was playing second fiddle to Pierce (Alan Alda). I don't think it was on purpose, Alan Alda was a great actor in that show so seemed to take center stage.

I wonder if Radar ever got his complete Jeep, lol.

I think I may have watched every episode, but liked the earlier seasons better, prior to when Radar left. Plus I kind of didn't like how it suddenly became the "Alan Alda Show."

Have you all heard about the new series that they're working on called "Seed"?

I have.

I think it may be either produced or just sponsored by this guy named Rob Skiba. He talks about the Nephilim and the world gov't and religion to come.

Anyways, in my honest opinion I couldn't care less if every TV show got cancelled. The TV is the hypnobox destroying morality and perverting the message of Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior.

Just watch any show geared toward 7 year olds. Ed Edd and Eddy had a show where they were laughing at the word "sextant" because of the first 3 letters of course.

And there's a clear ravenously iniquitous agenda seeking out child victims pushed by disney. All your kids idols will grow up to be a promiscuous moral-lacking super star. These stars are stars such as Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and most recently Miley Cyrus who recently put out a song about drugs and sex.

And even worse: We've got a Transvestite superhero show for kids coming out.

The media is only reprogramming our youth.

And all this Alien stuff, along with Vampirism and Zombies, which are most popular right now seem to have their agenda. It seems like TV becomes more and more demonically influenced. Aliens are clearly demonic entities, and a deception making way for the Antichrist. As this stuff becomes more popular, haven't you noticed there seems to be news just like it? There are many reports on Alien craft sightings. Vampirism is too popular, because the media is nothing but occult. We got Twilight which is about relationships between fallen angels and humans like Genesis 6, er, I mean relationships between a Vampire and a woman. Then we got Kim Kardashian getting her own blood medically sprayed on her face for youth. This zombie stuff is getting very sickening too. People are too obsessed with zombie apocalypses ....to the point where it happens: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2ZASCpOXRk

I don't want to keep going on with my rambling so I'll end it with this picture.

It's bad enough I'm on the computer often though. I can at least learn stuff from the computer. The TV pretty much teaches you what it wants you to learn. Even when you're just watching some random show. But still, I'm in front of a computer often enough, that TV is beyond pointless to me.

I guess we just have to pray for the protection of Lord Jesus Christ over our life, that he may grow in the promised spirit of "power, love, and sound judgment (2 Timothy 1:7)"

I'm not saying it's a bad thing to watch TV, I'm just saying be careful because it can sear your mind. You may want to keep your children away from it. Especially know that they are featuring promiscuous singers like Katy Perry on Sesame street, and Ellen Degeneres features Nicky Menaj(menaj is a reference to orgies) whose youngest fans are 7!!!
YAY(sarcasm)

Back in the 50s TV reception was via an antenna on the roof of your home.. many of the Christians of the day labeled them Devil's Tails .

If Christians had embraced this as a new method of spreading the gospel would it be as ugly as it is today....

I doubt it, though Christian's do have a tendency not to be able to see the potential of something that can used to further His kingdom rather than just condemn it as being of the devil.

Well Christians don't have to label things nowadays.
The media is pretty self-admitting.

Don't be swayed by the world.

“Now my soul is deeply troubled. Should I pray, ‘Father, save me from this hour’? But this is the very reason I came! Father, bring glory to your name.” Then a voice spoke from heaven, saying, “I have already brought glory to my name, and I will do so again.” When the crowd heard the voice, some thought it was thunder, while others declared an angel had spoken to him. Then Jesus told them, “The voice was for your benefit, not mine. The time for judging this world has come, when Satan, the ruler of this world, will be cast out. And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself.”—John 12:27-32 NLT
