"The Valley of Vision"
It's a prayer and devotion book by Banner of Truth containing puritan prayers and devotions. It's excellent and I take it everywhere with me, it's a suggested read.

"Systematic Theology" by V. Cheung
Very Calvinist, probably not for the average reader so I wounldn't suggest it.
 
"Luther: The Reformer - The Story of the Man and His Career"
Luther biography. Does have the basic's of theology through his eyes.

"Prepared to Answer: Telling teh Greatest Story Ever Told" by. Mark Paustian
Great book. Somewhat written to one whom has not heard the good news. Answers some of the very basic and frequent questions regarding faith. I think it's a great read.
 
I think its very difficult to find a quality Christian Comedy Novel.


I searched around for novel that would give me a good laugh . I ran across
Jesus Camp Mysteries on Amazon. I was originally looking for a documentary. But, I ended up seeing this novel . So I took a chance. I was a delightful little book that intention is to make you laugh but seem to be digging deeper into issues of being born again and having a personal relationship with Jesus.

Jesus Camp Mysteries is basically the story of a Christian Pop Star's rise to fame and fall to disgrace. On his way back up to the top he ends of meeting other who are struggling with their faith. This is all done in a hilarious and easy to read fashion

I made my little ones read. They liked it more than I did. I highly reccommend that this Jesus Camp Mysteries to anyone who would like to have a good laugh and share a reading experience with their children. :angel: :angel:
