I just wanted to know because lately it seems like I am rather gassy tonight and I'm wondering if it's something that I'm eating. :chin

Gas can be caused by swallowing air while eating or drinking resulting in burping most times. Then in your intestines, it can be caused by bacteria breaking down food.

Foods heavy in carbohydrates can cause gas. Foods that may not agree with our bodies can cause gas. High fiber foods that don't completely break down can cause gas (beans, veggies, etc). Gas could be caused by eating too quickly (swallowing more air this way). Some ingredients that aren't good for us (like artificial sweeteners) may cause excessive gas like Certain digestive problems or disorders may cause gas with pain and bloating and other symptoms.

Well I can't stand onions so I know that doesn't apply to me. :lol
Think of what you ate yesterday, then try eating each thing one at a time (different days). The idea is to isolate it to see the effect. I also have trouble with plums, prunes, cherries, apricots, various beans, certain nuts, and a few other foods.
TD:)
