Although I'm waiting for some out of town family to get here to open everything else with them, this morning so far I got Descendants 3 and The Greatest Showman. :biggrin2 Don't get me wrong, I love the storyline and the music of it,.. but I'm extremely happy that I can think of JohnDB whenever I watch it since he's my online father and one of my best friends on here and that's how much that I love him. :)

Luv you too sweetheart.

I got a cutting board I wanted. Some tools, Hobbit series, and cake pan wraps...so I don't have to use the cut towels anymore.

And a whole lot of fun giving unexpected gifts of cookies and candies and gingerbread to people. Lots of great memories this year.

Aww,.. you don't usually say that. :') Gotta love Christmas!! :biggrin You should consider yourself lucky too as I usually don't like it when people call me that. Joey and God are the only ones I actually like it when they use terms of endearment on me,..or if I'm roleplaying as somebody else hehe. :wink Sounds like you had a pretty good Christmas so far though. :)

Well,
We had a great time with our daughter and granddaughter and our son and his girlfriend. I think it took about two hours to open a handful of presents cause we were just telling family stories and having such a great time.
Of course, my wife made a marvelous meal. Baked French toast with walnuts and assorted berries with egg bake covered in white sharp cheese, sausage, orange juice and the best cinnamon rolls!

Oh, I got a bass guitar. :)

I got a new washing machine and hubby got a new mattress for our bed. We spent the day with my mother and took her out to eat. Dynamics changed big time this year with my siblings getting together (grrrrr!!!) and it was not the same, but still had a good day with mom and my one brother that came to spend the day with us.

I'm glad that you enjoyed yourself and had a pretty good day but a washing machine and a mattress? Wouldn't you rather have some movies or videogames or something? Lol sorry, I guess that's just me. :lol

Movies and video games I buy myself as I have hundreds of games and really do not buy very many movies. Same with clothes, I buy my own as hubby doesn't have very good taste and I don't wear jewelry and have plenty of that. Other than needing a washer and a new mattress there is nothing else I wanted for Christmas. I have to rack my brain to try and come up with anything as last year all I wanted was a housecoat. Our next big purchase will be a new couch and recliner when we can afford it. Usually when I buy something it's because I really need it.

Hubby does have a big want list, but I tell him good luck with that as he has expensive wants. LOL

Oh so do I.
A baker's balance scale with scoop and weights is around +$400...
A Japanese steel chefs knife with a nice handle made of ivory, Jade, or other precious material is around +$4,000. ($2K for handle and blade ea)
Real, high quality goat hair (cashmere) scarf and sweater is around +$2,000. (Anything else is low quality and sheds excessively)

A nice Chevy Dually pickup with 4WD and 4doors is around $75,000.

Custom straight razor... another $1200

Farm and home with production facilities for baking and jam/jelly production $400,000.

Truly nice things cost nice...but at the end of the day they are just toys. And where "he who dies with the most toys, wins" he is still dead and has to account for the life he lived while owning these things to his Maker.

Everyone has a list of expensive wants. But I'd much rather have my loved ones and my rich and full life than my entire list of toys any day of the week. And if the Good Lord makes a way for me to get any of my Toys... still might not.
I've had a lot of nice things over the years. I've enjoyed the stew out of each and every one of them. But the things I love the most, money can't buy. The things I truly want the most, money can't buy them either.
