Salvation is one of the Gifts from God that is not revocable.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. (James 1:17)

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Can anyone name a gift from God, that He has given to an individual that is revocable?.

Eyesight...I believe that in Romans Paul talks about a "veil" that the Jews were going to have concerning the Gospel...
And not everyone is born blind.

All life and soundness of health is a gift from God. I believe that Nebachunezzar lost his sanity as a result of pride... again at God's hand.
The Israelites lost possession of the Holy Land for 70 years as a result of disobedience.
Famine (as a result of a lack of rain) was common due to disobedience... until Elijah prayed for it to return. (After killing 500 prophets of Baal)

The list is long and mighty...these are but a few. Sampson, Annanias, Sapphira, Gehazi, and several others would say that they all lost gifts from God as a result of their sins.

Thanks John.

But I am looking for a gift that He has given a person, and He later revoked.
Not the common grace gifts he gives to all. But a gift He gives a person. Like the gift of eyesight he gave to the blind man. Can you or anyone specify a gift that he later 'took back?'

Gen_15:18 In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
2Ki 17:23 Until the LORD removed Israel out of his sight, as he had said by all his servants the prophets. So was Israel carried away out of their own land to Assyria unto this day.

1Ki 1:30 Even as I sware unto thee by the LORD God of Israel, saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne in my stead; even so will I certainly do this day.

1Ki 11:11 Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.

14 The Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him, “Now lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward;

for all the land which you see, I will give it to you and to your descendants forever.

Sitting on a throne and ruling arguably the most defiant group of believers ever is not a gift from God.......it is a 'white knuckle' service to God.

Gen 26:3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;
Gen 26:4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
Gen 26:5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

Romans 11:29King James Version (KJV)
29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. if one fails to use / exercise the gift God gave you (spiritual ) it just will not happen

Job...
God blessed him and took it all back.
Gehazi was an apprentice to Elisha but lost his health and job.

This is all common grace. He gives these things to the wicked and believers. And takes them away from the wicked and believers.

What gift did God specifically give Job.......that He later revoked?

What? You are trying to make us believe that.

Gen 26:3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;

OK,
Well you asked if God gave gifts and then took them back...
And I provided several instances where God did just that.

Gehazi was Elisha's apprentice just like Elisha was Elijah's apprentice... promise of good things to come and all that.
But lost his position and job due to a bad case of leprosy. God and Elisha were rather upset about it too.

Health and wealth may be "common grace" things to you but to many people they are extraordinary. I'd love to have perfect health and wealth. Or even a chance to be Elisha's apprentice. I wonder at the things I could learn.

Gen 26:3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;

Gen 26:5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
This is why you believe this gift of God was revoked?

Are you or are you not arguing for this gift to be revoked?????
