I was just wondering since this came up in the topic of conversation today and if anybody here knows. I do believe that mine was either Mama or Dada but I'm pretty sure that it was Mama right around when I was a year old.

Actually your mamma lied...ROFL
Most kids say "dada" before mama. It's one of those things that babies find easier to do. It infuriates mother's and delights the fathers.
They may not understand what they are saying but...hey it's not relevant when in this sort of competition.

If you don't realize by now that I wasn't like most children (and now most adults who are children at heart) then I don't think you ever will. :lol Hello!? No marbles remember? :tongue

I'm not sure what my first word was, but probably "mine" as I have two older sisters that are twins and I always wanted what they had. I do know I started walking at nine months and potty tranined before I was two as I always wanted to be like my big sisters at that age.

I got no idea what my first word was but what I do know is i was literally walking around the house when I was only 6 months old. Must have been my ADDH or something. I must have been keen or something looking forward to the future. Life was great back then. Now I'm just becoming a depressed old fart with no motivation.

Sorry to hear about all that depressing stuff, but how could you have been walking at six months? That is, unless you had help of course.

You might be an old fart as I am becoming, but don't make me come there and get you motivated as I will!!! I'll even bring my fishing pole and worms even though I never go fishing :yes:lol

Well I love going fishing but unfortunately until Joey gets out I don't have anybody to fish with. :neutral You just made me think of this song though lol! :lol

Life is going better now I seen the doctor the other week. After 20 years I can acturally wake up now and feel like I can get through the day with a more possitive outlook. And I don't need to write myself off drinking anymore.

As for walking, some babys do at 6months but it's just not common, I guess we used something to help stand up first then walk.

I knew something was majorly wrong with me because I was to unmotivated to even go fishing and that has always been my comfort zone, so I went to the doctor to seek help. Lol.

That has always been my one on one talk with God time in peace and I was unmotivated to even do that.

Glad to hear you are doing better now. I like my quiet times with God especially when I'm outside in the yard as we live in the country.

The problem I had with severe depression and phobic social anxieties was drinking. I'm sure others out there do the same thing. It's used as a medication because your down and out constantly all day everyday so you have a drink to feel better so want more and end up going full drunkard and writting yourself off. But it just makes life worse and you get even more down and out and life sucks even more and you become a alcoholic and you can't hold a job and get even more unmotivated. It's just a mess.

I would sit for hours by myself and down a whole bottle of whiskey often.

I so agree as it does make life worse as at one time I was heading down that same path, but got a severe reality check I didn't see coming that made me quit drinking. We do let certain things get in the way of the life we want.

That's good you got a reality check as I have now. I had been drinking near everyday of the week for years, the only days I didn't drink was when I had the DTs and needed a detox.

You know this topic got me thinking,.. that I wonder what the universal language was before God decided to change it and make it so we don't all speak the same language. :chin
