Once they finish remaking all of their old films? I keep reading that it was in Walt Disney's will to have all of his films remade for future generations, but I'm not even sure if remakes even existed when he was still alive.

It just shows that the producers and decision makers at Disney are out of ideas and writers and have no clue as to what vision to have for the future.

Movie classics like "The Parent Trap" or "Old Yeller" were "live action" where Mickey Mouse and other cartoons were of course fiction.

They are out of ideas. They have no clue as to what inspires children and their parents with wholesome fun and entertainment. Mostly because their focus is on money and profits instead of ideas and concepts from their hearts. (Money driven instead of product driven)

This, amongst other reasons, is why they buy already successful things and studios.

I remember back when I was about six or seven and I went to Walt Disney World for the very first time and I saw the studio where they filmed the 1996 version of 101 Dalmatians and I think that was the very first live action film that Disney ever produced. That and 102 Dalmatians are still both of my favorite live action remakes. After all, nobody can quite pull of that Cruella laugh like Glenn Close. Oh yeah and this is also my favorite scene from the first one. I'll post my favorite from the second as well, but if you think that it's too controversial just let me know and I'll fix it.

Cindarella, Peter Pan, the black cauldron, mickey and the beanstalk, the magicians apprentice and many others.
All of them were hokey but endearing and fun at the same time. Whether or not you could hear what was said at the Drive thru was not important because you could always tell what was happening solely by what you saw.

Disney land if there was a studio,at Disney world I haven't heard and I,served with a few of their employees.a city lies underneath and its painted every day there and trees are grown and replaced as they die.a wooden bridge from my county lies there in the its a small world after all

Before I sign off for the night I must say that Beauty and The Beast was a very good live adaptation. Especially if you do the comparisons here. My favorite song just happens to be Evermore though. Still, the feels. :')

Oddly to me beauty and the beast,alice through the looking glass,are things I saw as a boy in a play.

That said many of the movies Disney redid are in fact morbid.peter pan ,the boy is do vile and dark you will want hook to win,other fairy tales have not so nice endings.beauty and the beast and Alice are the same ,listened to the records with books in,school as assigned and knew them well.two variations of the beast exist.

Oh the books by j.m. Barrie ,think lord of the flies plus the darker cartoon of the late 80s early 90s.alladin is in Arabic tale ,I'm sure I would appreciate the original story since in have been to Arab nations .

Arabs tell moral lessons a bit more in a macabre nature .nassurdin is good example
