Oh come on there has to be something that you want. :lolYou could always say peace on earth or for everybody else on this forum to be happy and be together for Christmas. :) Sure peace on earth won't happen until Christ's return but it's still a nice thought. :yes

OK, what I want is for everyone here at CF to walk in unity of the love of God and that all their needs be met as we all grow in His mercy and grace. I pray that the spirit of giving to charities will be overflowing for those who are in need and also that God will safeguard and comfort our military that can not be with their families over the Christmas season.

Well said!! :thumbsup

If getting anything for Christmas (I never usually count on it), I would love a flute...I miss playing music so bad and don't care if I get a cheap $70 beginner flute on Amazon. I would also love to be able to get my husband a guitar so he can play music with me again.

What do you mean you're not sure whether or not you're getting anything for Christmas? Don't you always get Christmas presents?

No, gifts aren't an every Christmas type thing. I don't mind not getting anything, it isn't the most important thing. Back home growing up my parents did lots of presents for us for many Christmas holidays. After a while they would do one big family gift, which was fun. As an adult it kind of loses it's fun at times because a lot of gifts can mean even less storage space and getting things that you don't need only means trying to figure out what to do stuff. Not to mention the finances are not always there so we must skip presents to eat and pay bills. Now with the kids, we spend our present budget on them and others and my husband and I skip buying for ourselves. I like helping out with the bag and tag at the fire station where they bag up toys for needy families, it brings me a lot of joy. I was so sad I couldn't go last year when my dad was working that day, he would have loved to see us while working. Maybe this year =)
