Okay, I've got a new toy, an iPAQ Pocket PC! As stated in another forum, I had originally purchased it to listen to sermons I had encoded into WMA files, however since I have over 300 of em, I soon realized there was no-way I could put them all on on a single memory card, and it probably wouldn't be beneficial or economically feasible anyway. So I purchased a couple 1 GB SD memory cards for Christian Music and audio of the entire Bible!

One of the cards is only about half filled so far, but I have 19 CD's on it, and as soon as I can afford to buy more mucic, I'll fill it up! Isn't that amazing! I'll be able to put approximately 40 CD's on a single 1 GB SD card!

Just in case anyone is wondering, I've ripped these CD's to 64kbs wma files and I sure can't hear any quality loss! Of curse I'm getting older now, so quantity means more than quality ... as far as music goes anyway.

On another note, I've was able to put audio files containing the complete Old Testament (dramatized version) on another 1 GB SD card and the complete New Testament audio on another 512 MB card with an additional 10 cd's!

Sorry, no PDA, no cell phone... I carry a small KJB in my toolbag and a port. CD player to listen to CD's and mpg's... I do carry a beeper though. :-D

I'm Old School.

LOL! Yes, I have to read it... and I'll tell you why. I have a sort of photographic memory. I tend to remember seeing something a bit better than if I heard it. 8-)
