What's the primary purpose why God created man?

God is Love. Just nice to have something around to bestow such love upon.

It seems to me that since God created the angels, some of them rebelled against Him. There is no record of any of them having a chance to repent for their rebellion. Their creation, it seems to me, was to worship the Almighty God and to be of any other service to Him. Apparently they had no choice.

Without going into a massive post, I'd simply say that God longed for someone who wanted to worship Him and to be of service to Him because they wanted to out of love not compulsion. The idea of a man who would possess a "free will" to do either or not to was closest to His heart of love.

You and I my friend, are those of Whom our Almighty God longed for in the beginning. You are the fulfillment of the desire of God to have someone who will at some point, go to be with Him so that He can welcome you into a Paradise that He has created for those who chose to love Him unconditionally.

Chopper nailed it! I could add a foot note to this, in fact I will. Many, halfheartedly seek after God and are heard asking, "Jesus came to restore what?" They ask and some study for a time before giving up, never reading the Bible Jesus taught from and the Bible He taught the first twelve and Paul to teach from.

The reason and the Scriptural Answer is found in the first three chapters of Genesis where God walked with a naked Adam in the cool of the day, talking to one another. They enjoyed an activity that, in most circles today, the proper name is viewed as vulgar and might be removed because of the lack of education in the USA today but it is properly name Oral Intercourse. There is a sweetness this crass society knows not of today, in large part, also known as fellowship.

Actually, fellowship is larger than just conversation (Oral Intercourse) and is much more inclusive. But this is what was lost when Adam chose to follow Eve into sin. Think, for just a moment; The sweetness of strolling, in Adam's case naked, symbolic of without reservation and care for position, just strolling with Wisdom and feasting on it.

When I was in the military I was, for most of it, a devout atheist but I liked hanging out with the Chaplains when I wasn't drunk. One of the Catholic Chaplains enjoyed the study of old English and particularly the seventeenth century and he introduced me to the usage of the expression that today has been twisted by these revisionists of everything. Through his studies I understood it to mean a well considered exchange of honest thoughts by educated peoples.

I very seldom, if ever, use it today because the world is influencing the Church and they, the World, have made everything, filthy.

Sorry, the past 24 to thirty have been a sleep the pain off period and I just awoke. I had no intention to make you nor anyone else uncomfortable but in truth, there is nothing and I do mean nothing, we can do that we do not carry God into if we are saved and the Holy Spirit lives in us, no matter what. You, Chopper, ez and anyone else that holds the Holy
Spirit cannot put on enough clothing to hide, even, your thoughts from God. We are as if we were naked in front of God but without shame either.

For the past three days, the vertigo or whatever it is has kicked my butt. I do wonder, my hurting friend, why each day has to be so miserable. I long to depart from this rotten life of pain but realize that there is more work for me to do for my Master. Bill, how do you do it??

My next med is Morphine, I will no longer resist going there but were it not for my Jesus I should have been there long ago. I am amused a good deal, every time I think back to the day I was given six months to live and it is the same with the pain, without Jesus, I could never adjust my attitude and ignore it.

My wife and baby girl, and especially my granddaughter, dislike my grunting when I move but as I saw on FNC when a young female tennis star was ragged on about her grunting when she hits the ball, it was explained that one can hit the ball a good five miles an hour faster when the person grunts.

I find it is also true when dealing with pain. If nothing else, it takes my mind off the resulting pain until the movement results in so much pain that I load up on pain killers and go to sleep. Just as I was trying to illustrate the closeness of God in real fellowship, so is this trial beaten to the rear. When I pray for relief and there is a task I receive the relief I need for the period I need it.

I came into the Church and my first Pastor, Richard Clarke, told me that God will not use a man or a woman until He sees them in a broken state. That was, certainly, my condition when I surrendered everything to God and in this bed or in my motorized, science fiction, chair, I am still putty in God's hands.

I and Satan wrecked my body but all I have done and all I appear to have accomplished since 1/1/'90 is to the Glory of our God!

The Opiates are so good at what they do, they are always to me anyway, just another testament God exists (as if I really need one) when I see such a perfect drug is available when we need it and the make up of the drug itself.

It's the only category of drugs that can do the job with pain, but it not only takes care of pain so well but the depression because one in the pain situation. Then on top of those two perfect things, he made it highly addictive so most of us don't play with it when we don't need too. All that rolled into one plant or a synthetic copy of what comes from that plant...amazing.

Hope they are doing their job for you.

I haven't gone there yet, I'm still using a cocktail mixture that includes Tramadol but the next time my doc suggests it, I'm going to allow it. I was so wound up in drugs in the seventies and a good part of the eighties that I fear them now.

Sorry brother I would of hoped you saw it as a joke. I should of used a laughing emote, that's my bad. To be honest I understand what your saying. There is a euphoria to talking with people. Words are many things in this world but, it is also much more with the Lord. Praying is a form of such and you couldn't ask a believer and have them not agree that it's the most wonderful feeling conversing with God.

The term oral intercourse made me laugh to be honest. That joke I posted before this is mainly a shot at myself for being so darn shy.

As I understand it, that would be a later state in the evolution of our English language. Sounds just as good but not as intimate. And conversing with God has become the most intimate thing I have ever done.
