If I was on death row and ordered my last meal it would be a plate of fried chicken livers and gizzards and a plate of french fries. Three jalapenos and a bottle of ketchup to go with it. Two cold beers.

Quantrill
Omg, that sounds like a meal from Where I live, are you from South Louisiana? Lol

Nice to meet you too! Are you near the gulf? I’m not far from the coast, kinda concerned about this rare double storm coming ?

Naw, not really. I'm sure this storm won't be nothing yall haven't experienced before. If you're overly worried, then I would head inland till it passes. Find some kinfolk to visit for a few days.

All that Mexican cuisine has. But especially pico de gallo is hands down my ultimate favorite food. There's just something about that perfect combination of juicy tomatoes, onions, fresh cilantro, and tangy lime juice that gets me every time.
Too many favorites to pick. TexMex, Cajun, Southern, Western......I guess if I could have one last meal, It would be chicken fried venison with gravy and either fries or mashed potatoes.

Choosing a favorite food is tough, right? Personally, I'm torn between the comforting warmth of a bowl of ramen and the sheer joy of a well-made burger. What about you?

By the way, have you ever tried cooking with organic coconut milk powder? It's a hidden gem that can elevate both sweet and savory dishes. The convenience of the powder form is a game-changer.

Couple favorites of mine.

  • Fresh caught walleye breaded with Panko, seasoned with lemon-pepper, and deep fried with a side of tartar sauce.
  • Fresh caught walleye seasoned with lemon-pepper and pan fried in butter.
  • Fresh caught crappie breaded with flour and corn meal, seasoned with lemon-pepper, and pan fried with a side of tartar sauce.
  • Shrimp fettuccini.
  • Chicken carbonara
  • Shrimp or crawfish étouffée.
  • When I was in Jacksonville, FL one time I stopped at an oceanside place called Harry's. I ordered a dish off their menu called "Zesty Redfish" and it was probably the best meal I ever had. It was similar to an étouffée but slightly different flavored. I asked the waitress if it would be possible to obtain the recipe so I could try it at home using walleye but that was a no go since it turned out Harry's is a franchise.
