A crisis will come and go, but God is with us for eternity . . . Do you feel his presence in your life right now. Tell us about it.

God is busy trying to put people in place to take care of this crisis. However, the Holy Spirit is omnipresent so she is right here with me waiting out the epidemic. I am alone in my room, as my husband just passed, preparing for what I will do when the virus has run its course. I am available if anyone want to start a conversation with me.

No I don't feel God's presence, I don't expect to and have no need to.
When newly married I found it irritating that my wife kept telling me she love me. I knew she did it because she needed to tell me and because of her need I would, still tell her I love her.
I knew she loved me, she had married me, I didn't need her to tell me.
In the same way I know God/Jesus loves me, he diedto save me, he didn't have to.
He has told me, 'I will be with you forever.'

I believe God. I know feelings can be faked, manipulated and distorted so do not trust them as primary evidence.

You probably make a valid point about not trusting our feelings 100%.
Yet should we trust "the facts" 100 per cent? These days the facts get distorted by such things as political bias. No onr is quite sure what the facts are. The statistics released by countries on covid 19. How valid are they? Might some governments be hiding truths from their people?
Personally I value EI. Emotional Intelligence. It may not be exactly the same thing as feelings but still.
There is a divine intelligence that goes beyond feelings and facts. I think Susannah is trying to access some of that.

I think God is the same now as He was 4,000 years ago...the same God who sent His only Son to die on The Cross for us, about 2,000 years ago. so...

a lot of this crisis -- and this is true of just about any crisis -- exposes a lot of problems with our man-made social structures. Right now, to my left-leaning view of things, some improvements have been made, rather rapidly...low level offenders released from jails, work a day citizens getting $$$ straight from the federal gov't (US), talk of paid sick leave and extended unemployment benefits...

but I still worry about a much more controlling, authoritarian, eventually totalitarian regime, after this all subsides.

The reason I need to feel God is because before Jesus came into my life my feelings were depression and anxiety and they monopolized my life. I'm very sensitive when it comes to feelings so it's not an intellectual connection that I need or knowing that God loves me that I need. I need to feel his love and I do with all my heart.

Mother Teresa knew God loved her and she was happy to serve him but in her letters she stated that she did not feel his presence or his love for her and it was like torture. God bless her.

Yes God is greater than our intelligence, we cannot reason our way to God we need a devine input.
That said the facts of Christianity are not like government stats, liable to be interpreted, spun etc.
Equally our position in Jesus is not something that is determined by emotions.
We may be emotional about it but it is facts that determine the issue.
The facts of Christianity are not disputed by any historian.

I will praise God in the good times and praise and trust Him in the bad times as God is always with us as we trust and believe in His promises. Faith is always tested and our strength proven by the principalities of the world. My faith, my endurance and my trust is in the Lord as for me and my house we will serve the Lord. Pandemics come and go, but God is forever with us.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Psalms 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. (Read the whole chapter)

Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Psalms 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
