I dislike both personally, but Bush is such an utter idiot I would hate to see him in another term, especially because he would take that time to rape the constitution.

He's not an idiot. If he's an idiot to you, I can't imagine what you think of Kerry. :roll:

[quote="Fish-Cross":f388e]Bush, I can't stand democrats.

And I can't stand people who vote for a party rather than a person.[/quote:f388e]

If the office of president was the only one affected, then I would agree that it is the person should be voted for. However, since the administration of our entire Executive Branch of government is appointed by the president, you are actually voting for a single person plus dozens of people from his political party. Given this reality, a candidate's party must factor into any educated voting decisions.

I agree cubedbee,

Until I understood the current political system, I would have said the same thing that Intoxicated by Life said. However, I agree with more of the Republican platform than the Democrat platform. I think a smaller central government is better than a big one. I think fewer restrictions and taxes on corporations and small businesses result in more jobs and a stronger economy. I agree with a more literal interpretation of the Constitution, instead of it being a living, breathing document. I disagree with the homosexual agenda, the Union agendas, the feminist agenda, most of the environmentalist agenda, affirmative action, etc. Therefore, if I vote Republican, generally speaking, my views are more likely to get passed into law.

There are some exceptions, however. Arlen Specter is a Republican from Pennsylvania. I would not vote for him, I don't think - unless his only other opponent was somebody as liberal as John Kerry. :)

the question is infact illogical

Lead?
