No, it won’t! Let’s begin with what God set forth when He had created everything. In Chapter three we find God searching for Adam. Just to keep this straight, God knew where Adam and his wife were and He knew where they were before the beginning of time. The scriptures are the teachings of God and God never wastes. There are a couple of lessons in just the fact that God called for them but that is for another string.

And when God had called and Adam responded, Adam informed God they were naked and had eaten from the one tree God had forbidden them to eat. Between them they had one commandment to keep and they were both tricked into breaking that command and introducing sin into perfection. God left the kingdom of Heaven, any time He wanted and fellowshipped with the Crown Jewel of His creation, or did He?

We know that the Garden of Eden was located some place in Iraq and we know from the scriptures it never rained and the plants were watered from the dew and the water under the Earth. From all of my study I have concluded the earth was in such a condition that a man might have been able to walk all the way around it and the discoveries of the eruptions at the bottom of both major oceans could easily have been from the source that is needed to have enough water to flood the Earth to the depth need for the Global Flood.

We know from studying that there is a place that God appointed one place for His Temple to be built and that is in Jerusalem atop the Temple Mount and I suggest what I believe, the Temple, possibly the center of Heaven will be seated in that same place that the Jews will soon clear the Gold Dome off of and build the Third or the End Time Temple on.

Now, I can not prove what I just said and neither can I prove nor can I disprove it but I am not at all certain the Kingdom was not there in the first place but I am certain that God had all of this planned well before six thousand years ago, well before He set this all into motion.

In Mat 18:11 ["For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.] we see that Jesus had a mission to restore something that was lost. If we go back to Genesis 3 we see God breaking fellowship with Adam, the one thing He created man for. Jesus came to restore that fellowship where we would have a direct, two-way communication.

Recently I have been in a discussion with a person that should be a man of great faith that, perhaps unknown to him poured out a heaping spoonful of insult. You see, faith is defined differently by many people and it is seldom, even by Christians, defined scripturally. The world prefers it’s own and that is very difficult to erase and replace with any truth that matters.

People always want to explain away my two-way communications with God as something I believe. If that is true I am hearing from myself and that means I am a loony in need of a padded cell. But that is not the truth. Yes, God speaks to me through His Word, the Bible but God also speaks to me in a soft, peaceful manner and if you were right by my side, you would hear nothing when He does that.

And God is not something I believe in, God is a being that I walk with every moment of every day. God is right here and He is right there and if you cannot communicate with Him the fault is yourself because God wants that fellowship with every one of us.

Will any religion save your soul?
If any religion could save a soul there would have been no need for the Lamb of God to shed His blood for our redemption, and offer Himself as the ultimate sacrifice for sins. This is the point that every religionist must get through his head.

save our soul from what, the place prepared for the devil and his angels? What if ones religion doesnt have or believe in such a concept?

What if ones understanding of scriptural reality is different than yours?

Then my understanding or the other person's understanding would be closer to the true meaning of the scripture. Or we're both equally mistaken in what we think is the true meaning of the scripture. And your point....?

I agree with this and partner, you need to check every word of your preacher teaching, just as Hospice and I do, every word against the written and God preserved Words of His Highest.

What you posted in post number three screams that one of us is Hell Bound and according to the Word, it is not me, not this time.

I might very well get into trouble for this post but what is being discussed here is, both, soul saving and soul condemning. (Acts 17:11 Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.)
When we investigate the Word of the Most High God, as He has preserved it throughout the ages, we find that Jesus/God taught, way, more on Hell, the temporary Holding Pen, and the Abyss/Lake of Fire than He did on Heaven

From your Info I see you have chosen not to believe and that, neighbor, is sad and it means you are, just, as I was until just a couple of months before my twenty-second birthday, when I did not believe.

But you see, a cursory read through of the scriptures will never harm anyone and that is, exactly, what you should do and as you read through, be sure to ask me, reba, chopper, or any of the other Bible-based Christians here all the question you find the need to ask.

But by reading you will discover that the Default Position for any Human Being is to go to, what you most likely call, Hell. One is not required to believe anything to access Hell nor to access the Great Abyss/Lake of Fire. Those are destination points of any being that has reached the age of accountability and has not accepted the free gift of salvation.

You are standing on sinking ground, please allow us to help you.

Then that religion is FALSE, and that understanding of Scripture is FALSE. And all false religions and false teachings have their origin in the Father of Lies -- the Devil.

Yes, the bodies, souls, and spirits of those who are not washed in the blood of the Lamb will be in the Lake of Fire with the devil and his angels for all eternity. The *second death* means eternal separation from God. That is precisely why Christ died on the Cross (John 3:14-18).

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (Revelation 21:8).

Everyone's understanding is factually different. No 2 people are alike.

Personally I don't care for sects or individuals that are lurking around another persons every moves, thoughts, contrary beliefs or questions with hell's judgment to them always ever ready in hand waiting to toss another person into eternal hell at the drop of a hat and a moments notice, because I or others don't see "like they do." As if they know. What a joke.

That is NOT christianity or christian. It's somebody whom God Himself has locked up in the "judgment of hell themselves." I might call it a stage that a lot of christians go through and never pass out of. This kind of judgment is an ego trap and a power "fly strip" that seems to attract a certain breed of egoism power mongers. It largely shows how evil people can really be, inside.

I personally am no longer interested in the judgment of people whatsoever, have not been for more than a couple decades now and have long ago turned my sights of "eternal" judgments where they belong, to my spiritual adversaries, which are the devil and his messengers, whom I personally have to deal with every day before my Maker in my own thought processes and in my actions of life. That is a very great challenge that requires my full trust has to be turned to God in Christ, alone. I could probably care less about the hell mongers. They are simply deceived. I believe that God can get them past themselves at some point in time where they will learn to try to love their neighbors and to stop always potentially trying to damn everyone to hell everyday in every thought. To me such people are carrying a very heavy weight that is imposed by the enemies of our souls.

Living "otherwise" despite such impositions is challenge enough for me without having to worry about the state of anyone else's eternal affairs. Do I believe God in Christ is capable of saving? Yes!!! More Than Fully Capable of saving anyone at any time and also fully capable of saving every "person", should He choose to do so. One thing is for sure. Determining who is and isn't going to be saved isn't my job, and I am thankful it isn't. I know for a fact that the devils are NOT going to be saved. That is where my line in the sand is drawn. There is plenty of judgment to be had there if anyone wants it.

I have faith that a better outcome is in store than what I might be capable of imagining.

Religion is an enemy to the Gospel. The Gospel is pure, simple and clean, inward to the soul of the condemned sinner. Religion is the accomplishments of the flesh through works of the self willed and self righteous Adamic nature, that never removes him from his position of condemnation

There lays the whole point, religion can not save us, the Pastor, Priest, Rabbi or what ever other religions call their leaders can not save us. It's only by the grace of God, Ephesians 2:8-10 that through faith, Hebrews 1:1, we understand the sacrifice His only begotten son Christ Jesus that has redeemed us from the curse of sin when we confess we are sinners needing Gods grace, John 3:3-6; Romans 10:9, 10.

Jesus saves, God saves. Possibly the Holy Spirit saves because He brings us to Jesus and God. However religion is not without merit. Isreal was at one time filled with rituals, and holy days of celebration, and history through both that taught and witnessed to them of their history and their dependence on God. The Laws as applied in the Old Testiment could be both the fundamentals for what it means to follow a religion and be strengthened by it, as well as what it means to be a citizen and follow the laws and rules of the nation. That is the one religion that was sorrounded by idolatry and was warned about idolatry and turning away from God. All of that teaching, celebrations, sacrifices, laws and history I think is a strong point of God strengthening us, and strengthening society by having a foundation that can be described today as religous activity. It will not save us, but maybe it can be counted as strengthening us. (If it is true, or at least for the most part heavily influenced by God.)

I see the most uninformed statements and they never fail to leave me dismayed, this is one of them. There is one God! God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are the three persons of the One Triune God. Jesus told us that when we looked on him we were looking at the Father, all three are our One God.

I like you am a human that has never been to Heaven... yet! i will never pretend to be smarter than you and I cannot begin to explain how God is manifested in three persons but you, just like I, can grasp the concept and and believe because the Word of God is truth. Now, the best thing you can do is to fall on your face, praise God and prayerfully read all of the Bible, over and over.

Besides John 3:16 where Christ tells us that He is the "...one and only Son ,that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."(N.I.V.)It seems that even some of His disciples who were close to Him also had their doubts except for Peter when Christ asked them if they understood the mission of Christ while they were Caesarea Philippi which was still very strong regarding the Greek beliefs in Matt.16:13-16 and where Christ clearly states that those who refuse to believe in Him are condemned according to verse 18 "...on this rock I will build my church . and the gates of Hades will not overcome it."William Barclay tells us that Christ compares Himself against other religions as he interprets this passage "It is as if Jesus deliberately set Himself against the background of the world's religions in all their history and their splendour, and demanded to be compared with them, and to have the verdict given in His favour. There are few scenes where Jesus' consciousness of His own divinity shines out with a more dazzling light."(Barkley.The Gospel of Matthew Vol 2 pg 149).Its clearly one route and no other, no matter how morally perfect those other routes may appear.

I'm sorry if I said something that leaves you dismayed. That wasn't my intent. When it comes to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit there are a few verses that give a context to their relationship together. Some of those verses point to Jesus and God being one. Other verses giving the distinction between God and Jesus, such as the Father being greater then the Son, that God knows the dates and times of events and that even the Son doesn't know when the end times were going to happen.

There are a few other verses that can be placed as support for the trinity by their context instead of saying directly that Jesus and God are one, and there are a few other verses by their context that show a distinction between Jesus and God. On the one hand people bowed down and worshiped Jesus, and Jesus did not stop them, which gives credit to Jesus and God being one. But on the other hand Jesus prayed to God, some very intimate and personal prayers like the prayer to avoid the hardship on the cross, but also that Jesus wanted God's will, not His own.

There is enough bibical support that I have come to understand, that I honestly don't have a good answer about the Trinity. My most honest approach is that Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit might be one and all apart of the achother, but even if they are not, they are so close to being of the same that the Trinity probably still holds merit because humanly speaking we will never find a difference between the three of them.

The Holy Spirit gives us what Jesus has and knows. And Jesus gives the Holy Spirit what Jesus knows from the Father. So based on that seeing any of them is seeing all of them, and unable to distinguish the difference. At least that is my hope, and the best understanding that I have in me about the matter. It is also my hope though that by our faith we are saved, and brought near God, not by our understanding of deeper truths. (Though the understanding in my opinion helps strengthen our faith and correct it, it is my hope that God's salvation is based on something besides how well we understand and misunderstand.)

That said, aside from my thoughts on the Trinity. Do you think there's merrit about religion strengthening the people in their faith, or that that is garbage. That was my main point, and I would be more intreasted in your thoughts or corrections on that. (If I thought you could correct me on my understanding on the Trinity, then that would've been good too. But my thoughts are a mess on that one, and would be a longer conversation. Maybe it would help, maybe it would come to be close to the same where I have a mix of thoughts coming to the conclusion that I neither accept nor reject the Trinity, but both hope on it, or hope on it being close enough that anyone who trust on Jesus is saved.

There are good strings on these forums on Salvation and they are Bible based making them correct. You use "trust on" and that is a pairing that is often corkscrewed making it less than desirable for use to mean fully relying on. Even the phrase, "fully relying on" must be comprehensively explained for it to impart a useful concept.

Jesus, first is God, the real author of the Bible and the Bible Jesus, Paul, John and all of the disciples Taught from is presented to us today as the Old Testament and every word therein are the words of Jesus. And then in the Gospel accounts of Jesus teaching us how to use the Old Testament (the Bible) to live successful lives, dedicated to and for God.

Then Jesus told us about the love of God that extends to every human being that ever has and ever will live on the Earth. And Jesus taught us that if we love Him we will keep His Commands and oops, the membership just moved their letters leaving very few that are willing to hear truthful instruction.

But you see there is total submission to the Word of God for Salvation to be true. Just believe? That is not the simple premise Satan wants us to believe. No, that is a premise that I best illustrate with using a helicopter part, the Jesus Nut. No, there is no blasphemy there. The Jesus Nut is located at the very top of the Main Rotor Shaft, the shaft that, all by itself, holds, spins, and accommodates the delivery of Pitch, Direction, and Torque to the only thing between life and eternity for every man or woman inside the shell underneath it.

Seated at the very top of that Main Rotor Shaft is one Main Nut, most oft referred to as the Jesus Nut and every single life, piece of aluminum skin, nut, bolt, screw, cotter pin, radio, everything, depend on that nut for their safety. Just as my LORD keeps me, that single nut saves the aircraft and every soul aboard.

If I ever lost my faith in it and began to remove it, inspect it, and reapply it every day or several times every day, I would have worn it out with my distrust and it would have failed and killed all on board. All for the lack of an active faith in that one nut.

The same is true of our faith in Jesus. I do not read concerns that are not scriptural because, like a computer, the information that comes out of a computer or a brain is only as good as the information that is programmed into it.

God promised to preserve His Word eternally and I believe anything He said! And you see, Satan and every single one of his demons believe in Jesus and they are not saved. There is more to it than that.
