It is a fact that those centres of power that have religion and its moral values in their sights have combined the wide opportunities at their disposal and are acting in alliance against people who have religious beliefs. It is actually not that difficult to destroy, in the ideological sense, that wicked alliance, to eliminate the negative and destructive effects of atheist- materialist indoctrination, and to bring about a society where proper morality, happiness, peace, security and well-being prevail. The one way of doing that lies in the three revealed religions (Islam, Judaism and Christianity) joining forces in the light of that common objective.

The task of sincere Christians, Jews and Muslims who possess a conscience and common sense is to wage a joint struggle against evil and those who engage in it, to help one another and to act in a spirit of unity and cooperation. That unity must rest on the principles of love, respect, tolerance, understanding, harmony and cooperation. We must bear in mind the urgency of the situation, and factors likely to give rise to conflict, argument and division must be scrupulously avoided.

Here, Jews, Christians and Muslims are called to join in the light of common objectives to wage a joint struggle against atheism, social and moral degeneration, and to spread good morals throughout the world. This call is to all the sincere, scrupulous, benevolent, agreeable, decent, pacifist, and just Jews, Christians and Muslims.

The duty of Christians is to preach the gospel.

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Christians are to seek a unity of the faith delivered to the saints not a unity among and with different faiths.

We are to contend (fight) for the faith not join with other religions in evil unity with the enemies of Christ.

Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

We should not join forces with those who deny Christ or worship devils.

1 Corinthians 10:20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

"Religions united" is the religion of antichrist...

No thanks!

I think that when Jesus returns, it will become very clear to all that there is either no religion or only one religion....that religion being Jesus. Once Jesus is here, nothing that we argue about will be important anymore. Hopefully, everyone will flock to Jesus, believer and non-believer alike and there will be only one thing that matters........JESUS.

Whether, as some say, the Second Coming will take the shape of the actual return of our Lord Jesus or, as others claim, the Second Coming will constitute the realization of the Kingdom of God inside of each of us, I have little doubt that many of the world's religions/churches will be among the staunchest opponents of that Second Coming.

That won't happen because Jesus is the Son of God and the Jesus of Islam is a false Christ...

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

The false prophet Muhammed and his false Christ will be cast into the Lake of fire.

Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Muslims believe Jesus will return to the great mosque of Damascus in Syria and that he will land on one of its minarets before coming down to earth. I (John Gilchrist) have often asked Muslims how Jesus could be identified on his return if he was to return as no more than an ordinary man. If someone was to appear in Syria and be interviewed one day on TV, claiming, "I am Isa (Jesus). I returned from heaven earlier today. No one saw me but here I am," how would anyone know it really was him?

Some Muslims, aware of the need to be able to positively identify him, believe he will have a bone missing in one of his fingers. This is no more than a typical myth but it does show the problem of identifying any ordinary, bearded man dressed in white, as Jesus if he claims to be him. Significantly, there is a tradition in Islam telling Muslims how to recognise him. Muhammad is recorded as saying:

  • There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus (pbuh). He will descend (to the earth). When you see him, recognise him: a man of medium height, reddish hair, wearing two light yellow garments, looking as if drops were falling down from his head though it will not be wet. Sunan Abu Dawud, Vol.3, p.1203
A Muslim friend of John Gilchrist once said to him, "When Jesus comes I believe he will come from heaven shining like a light." Gilchrist replied, "Why do you say this? This is what Christians believe." He answered, "Look where he is coming from. You cannot come from heaven looking like this," pointing to himself. He made a crucial point. The issue is not whether Jesus will return to Damascus, Mecca or Jerusalem, the question is where he is coming from. He will be coming from heaven. Having been alive there for thousands of years it is highly unlikely that he will come back in an ordinary, earthly form. Coming from heaven, he will surely bear the glory of heaven. Jesus himself confirmed that he will return in heavenly splendour in these words:

  • Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heaven will be shaken; then will appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory; and he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Matthew 24:29-31
When even the sun casts a shadow a new brightness will appear. All the earth will see the glory and power of Jesus as the heavens are opened and his presence fills the skies. His light will be so splendid that even the stars and galaxies will recede before him. This is one of the greatest facts about the second coming of Jesus that you need to emphasise with Muslims and you have the testimony of Jesus himself to support it.

IMO, things will be a lot different when Jesus (saw) comes than it is now. So who knows what the conditions will be like when he decends.

When Jesus comes there will be no mistaking who He is.

Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Revelation 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

Revelation 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

Revelation 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Revelation 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

Revelation 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

Revelation 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Don't worry we will know who Jesus is... :biggrin

Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Revelation 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

Revelation 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

Revelation 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Revelation 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

There will be no Atheists nor skeptics in that day!

Good post and conclusions!

If you are SECURE in your faith of the Risen Lord Jesus, than you live a life free from fear and free from condemnation of those different from you.

People become Christians when they see the Light of the Lord shining through your actions, not through the selfish ego of having to win theological arguments to satisfy pride!

A true Christian will cross the line and help an Islamic/Hindu/Taoist brother in need with NO STRINGS ATTACHED!

God Bless!

Every Christian I know will help a person in need in spite of their beliefs.

The issue here is salvation.

Muslims and Hindus do not believe in Jesus.

I would be truly harsh and unloving to pretend that they
are saved and on their way to heaven when they are not.

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

People become Christians when they repent of their sinful pride and rebellion towards God almighty, and believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the one and only. A true Christian will cross the line and help unbelievers such as Islamic/Hindu/Taoist knowing that they are not yet brethren in Christ Jesus. That is why Jesus taught us to love one another and to also love our enemies. Those that are of the world are at enmity with God and his children, and are enemies. Only those that have come to be born of the Spirit of God are children of God. Any other understanding than that is deceptive thinking.
