All I want to know is why the motivation to reconcile God of the bible with the god/s of wicca?
I have absolutely no desire what-so-ever for that effort. I just don't understand the motivation for witches to work so hard to justify their beliefs/actions by misrepresenting scripture.
The God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob and the god/s of wicca are not one and the same.
In order to reconcile the two one of two things must occur on the most simple of basis.
1) The God of the Holy Bible must change.
2) The god of Wicca must change.

Wiccans of course are not about to change their god or godesses. Therefore the former is targeted. Targeting the God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob means His Word and all concerning His Son is a lie for you've made it known that Christ is not within the realm of your belief. It's not a matter of deism, but a matter of the one and only begotten Son of God. The entire bible is centered on Christ. God the Father testifies of the Son. If the effort is to reconcile the God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob with the god/s/godesses of Wicca then one must also separate Christ from the Father. The bible is a very Jewish book that told the story of their salvation through the Gift of the Son.

Again, this is not a matter of reconciling the god of deism. This is a matter of tossing Christ completely out of the picture for who He is. Would you degrade him to the position of a prophet as the Muslims do? Or as many of the other non-christian religions and cults also attempt?
No, this isn't just about God the Father. This is totally about Christ, who He is and why He did what He accomplished for us on the cross.

So I must ask what place does Christ hold in Wiccan belief?

We don't have any need or desire to reconcile the Bible with our beliefs in God.

We simply use the Bible when it's appropriate to counter the accusations thrown at us. We do so because it's the language you folks understand.

Glad to help... although I'm not exactly sure what your point is....
