We feel that is reserved for them to do with their future spouse. We wil kiss on the cheek, or the like, but never on the lips.

After a certain age...... like childhood over, it was weird..... my Dad seemed to have a problem with my kissing him on the cheek to say goodnight as was our "expected thing to do" in childhood. I hope he doesn't continue to refuse a kiss on the cheek. I think he will need it, and I miss it. It is only meant in Father/Daughter honoring way.
Normally, I fell like quick pecks are meant innocently. They should never be or feel forced.
