i think this is the right forum to make such an admission. A supportive one.
I am in my sixtees but i had to quit drinking, smoking and gambling.
Gambling quit aged 40
Smoking quit aged 50
Drinking quit aged 45

Gambling really dented my finances.
the other two were ruining my health.
you will know when its time to quit....avoid rock bottom is my advice

my wife saved me from myself.
she gave me a reason to quit.
i think i would be dead by now without her.
