Going to a Bible study news years get together. We feed on the Word and party with eating and for Mike and I sparking apple and grape juice. Mike always over does the sparkling drinks and ends up having to be restrain from floating around Willie Wonka style. The only thing that would make it better if we had a twinkling of the eye event. May you all be safe and grow closer to the Lord.
 
Thank you I wish exactly the same thing upon you. :) Also I don't really have any New Year's plans. Just stay up (and logged in) until midnight and watch the ball drop. I'm even going to post the livestream. :biggrin2 Oh and I think I will be drinking Wassail to toast in the new year!! :woot

In my humble opinion it's better not to have a New Year's resolution at all then to try to make ones that you know you can't keep.
 
Hubby was out of state so I spent the night all by myself with kitty. Stayed up and watched the ball drop and went to bed. The only resolution I make is to not make them. The new year will bring that same as every year being a day by day basis and growing stronger in faith and Spiritual growth.

Going to do more camping this summer and discover new beauties of God's creation. No more ATV riding for me since I hurt myself when I wrecked it a couple years ago as I sold it. Hubby will keep enjoying riding with my brother. I'm going to buy a golf cart and troll around in that when we go camping. Come on summer!!!

Oh you wouldn't have to actually sing it. Just play it every time you do something troll worthy. Like make scary bear noises in front of somebody's tent or something and then when they come out press play. Or take the keys to somebody else's golf cart and then play it. :lol Since you're the one who wanted to "troll around" in the first place. LOL!! :tongue
 
I had planned to stay in but I got called out at around 11:00 or so. It's been cold and if you don't change the filter it gets too hot and shuts itself off. You also are not supposed to hang draperies or whatever on the wall over the thermostat :screwloose2 or it will not function either. Dingy young single moms are job security. There was a new filter sitting right beside the external filter rack in the duct work right at the furnace and she wouldn't change it I guess. So I offered to show her how for in the future, and she declined! There's that job security again, lol.

This is my neighbors house and I met him when he lived there. But he has health problems and so moved in with his mom and now has this young single girl in there with a little 3 year old little girl, Emma. It seems to be getting to be a regular thing to have to go over there and fix something so Emma is getting to know me now and gave me a big hug when I got there this time. Emma and her mama are both fixed up to ring in the new year and kind of dressed up and have been taking pictures and so I took some pics of them together that they could have.

And Emma sees her mama getting eggnog ready for them so they can toast in the new year...and so 3 year old Emma invites me to have some eggnog too and toast the New Year with them. You just can't turn down something like that from a cute little 3 yr old so that's what I did.
 
Here in Honolulu, we were in for the wildest fireworks show I've seen in decades. They rang in the new year with a city wide celebration like I've never witnessed. We didn't have to leave our apartment. We just had a small glass of putrid tasting wine and watched the show from our balcony. It was like WOW.
 
Me and the Mrs... well we are exhausted. We had a couple of invites for a couple of different parties but... well we decided to stay home, watch some movies and go to bed early.
We took back that 50" we bought and got another one. (Kept having issues downloading apps and updating them...it was an LG too) we got a TCL the same size. Not as good a picture...but it works.
Cooked up a couple of steaks for dinner and all is good.

Now it's off to work I go.

Wife is happy, I'm happy. There you go.

Whenever a person goes on disability, they can expect to be placed under surveillance. There are several tell-tale signs of this. For example, if you have a home phone(land line) and use a base with a few handsets scattered around the house, you can tell your phone is bugged if the base shows a handset is in use when it is not. If your base shows "handset in use" but all the handsets show to be"off", then your phone is hacked and you are being listened in on.
