Revelation Chapter 5

Revelation 5:1-5

John sees a book that God is holding in His right hand. This book has writing in it and John sees on the back side of the book it is sealed with seven seals. There are two books mentioned in Revelation 20:12 that have been written in since the foundation of the world. One is the book of life that records everyone’s works or deeds and the other book is the Lambs book of life. Those whose names are found in the Lamb’s book of life will not stand in Gods great white throne judgment for they have already been judged by their faith in Christ and are part of the first resurrection, 1 Corinthians 15:51-55; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.

Those whose names are not found written in the Lambs book of life will be part of the second resurrection, Revelation 20:6. They will stand before God in his great white throne judgment as He opens the book of works and those who stand before him will be judged by their works whether they be good works or evil works, Matthew 7:21-23; 2 Peter 2:21. These works have also been written down from the foundation of the world. Death and hell, which means the grave, are now cast into the lake of fire with Satan, the beast and the false prophet.

John sees a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice saying who is worthy to open the books and loose the seven seals. John wept because there was found no one worthy to open the book and the seals. One of the elders in heaven came to John during this vision and told John not to weep as Jesus who overcame the world was the only one worthy of opening the book and to release the seven seals.

Revelation 5:6-10

The seven horns and seven eyes have already been explained in this verse as being the seven spirits of God found in Isaiah 11:2. When Jesus took the book out of the right hand of God the Cherubim, Seraphim and the twenty four elders bowed down before Jesus as they had harps of worship and golden vials of incense which are the prayers of the saints.

The prayers of the saints are those whose spirit is reserved in heaven, Ecclesiastes 12:7, that are under the altar in heaven who have already died a martyr’s death. They are told to wait patiently till those who are yet alive will also be persecuted to death for keeping the witness and testimony of Jesus, Revelation 6:10. they have to wait until the end of days an in the end will all be joined together as now begins the timing of the martyred saints blood to be avenged, Revelation 6:10 with the opening of the seven seals.

They sang a new song in heaven as Jesus was revealed to be the only one worthy of opening the seven seals as he redeemed everyone, Jew and Gentile, all over the world by his blood that all who come to him are made to become kings and priest with Jesus, 1 Peter 2:9, and will reign with him forever.

Revelation Chapter 4

Revelation 4:1-3

Instructions to the seven Churches have been issued for edification and warnings of Gods chastisements and now John sees a vision of a door opening before him. The first voice he heard speaking to him was that of great power and authority similar to the powerful sound a trumpet makes. The voice tells John to draw in closer to Gods Spirit to see the visions of those things that are yet future.

After hearing this voice John was immediately overcome by the Holy Spirit and in this vision saw a throne was set in heaven and the Lord sat on it, Rev 1:10; Isaiah 6:1. John was not taken up to heaven, John 3:13, but was only caught up in the Spirit while he was on the isle of Patmos. God was being compared to a jasper and a sardine stone in all their splendor and beauty. On the Ephod that the Priest wore there were four rows of various stones that represented the twelve tribes of Israel being the sons of Jacob. The first stone was jasper representing Reuben being the first born and a sardine stone as being Benjamin the last son to be born. God is represented like these stones in vs. 3 as being the first and last as in Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.

All the stones in between the jasper and sardine are those of Gods covenant he made with faithful Abraham in Genesis 12:1-3 that have remained faithful and have endured all persecutions even to death that sleep in the grave, 1 Corinthians 15:51-55; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17. There are yet many that even now and up to the time of Jesus returning in the air for his Bride that will die a martyr’s death in that which will come hereafter as John sees in his visions.

The rainbow round about the throne of God is his covenant promise he made with Noah in Genesis 9:1-13 that from henceforth God will never destroy this earth with an actual flood, but the flood or power of Gods wrath during the seven trumpet sounds will either cause many to repent and have eternal life with the Father or be cast into the lake of fire with Satan, the beast and the false prophet. The rainbow is also described as being emerald that is green in color which symbolizes that same covenant God made with Noah is also for all who are living and growing spiritually as they remain grounded in faith that is Christ Jesus no matter what comes against them.

Revelation 4:4

John now sees twenty-four elders seated around the throne of God. The twenty-four elders in the heavenly sanctuary of God are responsible for worship, for the music of worship, and as such they stand as the gatekeepers of the house of God. The Elders in the Church here on earth are patterned after those in the heavenly realm, 1 Chronicles 24:7-19; 25:6-31; 26:12-19. These elders are clothed in white raiment which represents Gods glory in them and they have gold crowns upon their heads as they are Gods royal priesthood. The elders are representative of Gods chosen generations that he has called out of darkness into his marvelous light, 2 Peter 2:9 that are asleep in the grave and those who remain alive as God’s witnesses during the seven trumpet soundings before Jesus returns.

Revelation 4:5-8

Lightning’s, thundering and voices are that of the glory of God in all His power and authority. There are seven lamps of fire burning before the throne which are the seven spirits that are the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord found in Isaiah 11:2. The seven spirits of God are given to the seven churches in the beginning of Revelation as the seven churches are representative of all who are in Christ to stay inline with the will of God.

The sea of glass that is liken unto crystal before the throne of God symbolizes Gods holiness and purity as in Exodus 24:10 where God is revealed in all his glory to the people of Israel and in Ezekiel 1:22-28 Ezekiel saw a vision of Gods throne. It’s a place in our mind of peace and restful assurance in the presence of Gods full glory as we see him in all power and authority. God is our safe haven during times of persecution during the trials and tribulations we face as we always have the victory over Satan and his temptations, especially during the time of Gods wrath and the mark of the beast.

The four beasts around the throne are Seraphim that have six wings. Two wings to fly with, two wings to cover their feet and two wings to cover their faces. They fly around the throne of God singing his praises as they call attention to Gods attributes, Isaiah 6:1-3. The first beast was like a lion that represents Gods majesty and omnipotence. The second beast was likened unto an ox which is typical of faithful labor and patience. The third beast had a face of a man that indicates Gods intelligence and the fourth beast had a face like an eagle that represents supreme sovereignty. They give glory and honor and thanks to God who sits on his throne as only he alone is worthy of praise.

Revelation 4:9-11

The twenty four elders around the throne of God cast their crowns before the throne as they give praise, glory and honor to God. The crowns they lay down are the crowns of glory as they are the head of worship and praise to God in heaven. The earthly elders or pastor are given a crown of glory as they hold the office of leadership over the members that make up the body of Christ. It is their leadership through the Holy Spirit that helps to teach us about God through his word. Theirs is the greatest judgment for what proceeds out of their mouth, 1 Peter 5:1-5.

The Comfort of the Lord’s ReturnNow we do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you will not grieve as also the rest, who have no hope.13The Comfort of the Lord’s ReturnNow we do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you will not grieve as also the rest, who have no hope.14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, thus also God will bring those who have fallen asleep through Jesus together with him.14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, thus also God will bring those who have fallen asleep through Jesus together with him.15For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who remain until the Lord’s coming, will not possibly precede those who have fallen asleep.15For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who remain until the Lord’s coming, will not possibly precede those who have fallen asleep.16For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.16For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.17Then we who are alive, who remain, will be snatched away at the same time together with them in the clouds for a meeting with the Lord in the air, and thus we will be together with the Lord always.17Then we who are alive, who remain, will be snatched away at the same time together with them in the clouds for a meeting with the Lord in the air, and thus we will be together with the Lord always.

Revelation Chapter 2-3

The seven angels are sent out to the seven Churches in the Roman province of Asia. The seven Churches is also a dual reference to the whole Church that is the body of Christ as in Jew and Gentile, Galatians 3:28, 29, that have been Spiritually born again and baptized in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, John 3:3-6. God knows our works as in our strengths and our weak areas that we slack in and need instruction.

God has given us his seven spirits which begin with the spirit of the Lord that will rest upon us, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear (respect) of the Lord that they might rest on us as they rested on Jesus, Isaiah 11:2, that we remain in Gods will for the works of preaching his word in all truths. It is not we that speak, but the Holy Spirit that speaks through us so we remain a vessel of honor before him. Philadelphia is that undefiled body of Christ that is laid out for us as an example of Gods pure undefiled religion that is unspotted of the world, James 1:27.

Revelation 2:1-7

To the Church of Ephesus you have left your first love, which means they have fallen into a Nicolaitan heresy teaching things that lead people astray from truth that Jesus already taught. The Nicolaitan were a Gentile heretic sect that converted over to Judaism to dominate others with their heretic teachings. Irenaeus, Hippolytus, Epiphanius, and Theodoret mentioned this group, and stated that the deacon Nicolas was the author of the heresy and the sect.

The Nicolaitan are the followers of that Nicolas who was one of the seven first ordained to the diaconate by the apostles in AD 33, Acts 6:5. They lead lives of unrestrained indulgence as in eating things offered to idols. The teaching of the Nicolaitan was to dominate the people leading them astray from that of what Jesus taught.

Revelation 2:8-11

Smyrna make it known to you that I am Christ whom was crucified, dead and buried and as I have suffered for your sake so will you suffer for mine, Romans 8:17; 1 Corinthians 10:13; Philippians 1:9. You may be poor in the material things of this world, but you are rich in my word as you keep my commands and the testimony of my word. Many among you say they are mine, but yet deceived as they are of their father the devil even if they are unaware that they are.

Fear none of those persecutions that will come against you, especially during the time of Gods final wrath upon the earth for whoever loves his own life will lose eternal life with the Father, John 12:25. Jesus will give us a crown of life, which is life eternal with the Father if we are faithful to him until his that great and terrible day of the Lords return. The second death is those who have no eternal life and will be cast into the lake of fire, Revelation 20:6; 21:8.

Revelation 2:12-17

The sharp sword with the two edges is spoken of again as a warning of instruction to the church in Pergamos. They never denied their faith in the Lord even as their brother before them whose name was Antipas that never denied his faith when he was killed for the sake of the word of God. Wherever there is a martyr for the sake of the Lord it is Satan that guides the hand of the persecutor. Pergamos has allowed the false teachings of the Nicolaitan to enter their church by giving a seat to Satan to cause a stumbling block to those who lack knowledge so they would fall away from their faith as they are seduced by the spirit of Jezebel.

They are told to repent of this or else the word of God will judge them and find them guilty. If they overcome that which they have allowed to enter in and cast it out of the church they will be given truth of the word of God as they are given a white stone, meaning the Spirit’s witness which no man can know unless they have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit that teaches us all truths, John 14:17, 26.

Revelation 2:18-29

Jesus is relaying a message to his Church that there will be a greater need more than ever as Gods final wrath moves over the world. The Church, those who are in Christ and he in them, are here to preach salvation to those who have yet to repent until that door of salvation is closed when Jesus returns for His Bride.

Here again we see a warning against this Jezebel spirit teaching in the church. She is the type of paganism that has crept into the Church and causes a great falling away with her doctrines of Satan, 2 Thessalonians 2:3. God gave Jezebel time to repent, but she never did so God cast her into a metaphoric bed like a whore waiting to seduce those who come to lay with her as they continue to promote her pagan religious ideas. Later in the revelations we will see her being called the great whore of Babylon as she is a harlot who has lead Israel astray as Gods chosen people, but yet even they are given time to repent.

God said that he will kill her children meaning those who promote paganism in the Church that when they fall others will realize that God is the one who judges the intents of the heart. We will be judged by our works whether they be good or evil as only God knows those who are his own.

Jesus relays again to the Church that he will put no more burdens or in another word judgments on those who have never been seduced by these false doctrines as they continue in all truths of the Gospel and overcome that of Satan by maintaining their good works he will give them power over the nations as we will rule them with a rod of iron meaning we are the vessels God works through and as Jesus was made to die by the hands of the accusers so will we be like Jesus in times of great persecutions against the Church. We will receive that morning star, which is Jesus, when he comes in the clouds and we are taken up to him to be with the Lord forever.

You can study about Jezebel and how Israel lost the right to be Gods chosen people as her spirit still enters the house of the Lord to lead many astray from truth as those without Spiritual knowledge will reconcile what they hear with a carnal mind, 1 Kings Chapters 9, 16-19, 21.

Revelation 3:1-6

The angel tells Sardis you have a name (Jesus) that lives, but you are dead as your works have become lazy and are about to die all together. In the beginning of the ministry God instructed to your care you were strong, but now have been slacking in the work you have been given.

Remember that of your instruction that you hold fast in those things you have learned by the Apostles teaching you first and not fall as you need a refreshing of the Holy Spirit to strengthen you so you are not taken as a thief in the night when the Lord returns for no man knows in what hour that may be, Matthew 24:36, 37.

You have a few in the Church that still stand strong in the Spirit and have not defiled themselves as they remain unspotted that they will walk with me and are worthy, Jude chapter 1. Listen to what the Spirit says to you and allow the Holy Spirit guide you into perfect works that will be completed when the Lord returns.

Revelation 3:7-13

The key of David means to have power and authority that only comes from God that we speak his word in power and in truth. God is never changing and His word is sent out to accomplish that of what he has already spoke as in the beginning and will never come back void, Isaiah 55:11, even to the end. God gave us salvation by grace in his only begotten Son Jesus that through him we have forgiveness of sin and life eternal with the Father, but only if we make Jesus our Lord and Savior.

God knows our good works that are done unto his glory as we follow his will and our strength is through his power and authority as only God knows the intents of the heart. Those who are of the synagogue of Satan are those Jews who think they are Gods chosen, but we read earlier in 1 Kings 9:1-9 where they lost that right to be called Gods chosen people.

This is the same with many Gentiles as God has rejected them also for they call themselves Christian, but by name only as neither one has the Spirit of God found in them, Matthew 7:21; Acts 19:15. God will make them come to realize who he truly loves as they stand in awe and amazed as they never kept the love of God in their hearts but love themselves more than God.

Because the Church of Philadelphia (Gods pure Church) have kept the word of God and have waited for him patiently God will keep them from being tempted by the works of Satan that will deceive even the elect of God if they are weak, Matthew 24:24. Those who overcome will God make them to sit with him in the New Jerusalem that is waiting to be ushered down.

Revelation 3:14-22

This particular church is given a warning that you are neither hot nor cold. They virtually have no works that would bring honor and Glory to the Lord as they find themselves materially rich but have lost the richest thing they ever had which is Gods Spirit. Their love of the material possessions has closed that door of God and is causing them to lose the kingdom of God forever if they do not repent of their selfishness.

They do not even realize how unhappy their spirit is as they are blinded by their gain and have not Gods righteousness found in them anymore. They have shamed themselves before the Lord and God advises them to repent and be made pure again before him so that Gods righteousness can be found in them and once again have union with God.

Gods rebuke and chastisements are from his love he has for everyone and as long as Jesus is standing at the door knocking, everyone has a chance to repent and be apart of Gods kingdom. He that overcomes are in Christ and Christ in them and will have eternal life with the Father in his kingdom that is waiting to be ushered down called the New Jerusalem.

The messages given to all seven Churches are messages to all of us. We as one body in Christ are Gods message to the world as we go about preaching Gods salvation to all who will have an ear to hear. The world (Satan) wants to devour that which is Gods here on earth and if we are not in Gods perfect will even the very elect of God can be deceived.

Rev 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Rev 3:22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Revelation Chapter 1

Revelation 1:1-3

God gave these revelations to Jesus first and then he passed it onto John through a ministering angel through visions as God reveals those things that have to come to pass before the return of Jesus. The revelations are for the Church in John’s time plus every generation from that time on until Jesus returns in the air to gather up his Bride to the clouds as they receive their new glorified bodies and meet Jesus in the air, 1Corinthians 15:5-58; 1Thessalonians 4:13-18.

Revelations 1:4-8

The seven churches represent all who are in Christ and He in them from generation to generation. Only through that of Jesus being the final sacrifice for the atonement of sin can we become a royal priesthood joined to him, 1 Peter 2:9. Jesus comes in the clouds and every eye will see him, even those who have rejected him and many will loudly mourn his coming as they have never repented of their sin and now the door of salvation will be closed forever. God is never changing and his word will never come back void, Isaiah 55:11.

Revelation 1:9-11

John was the last Apostle alive of the original twelve Disciples at the time of his writing these letters to the Church. John was with John the Baptist until that time he was called to be part of the twelve Disciples of Jesus. He was called the beloved of Jesus as he left John the Baptist to follow after Jesus. John was the only Disciple that witnessed the crucifixion of Christ as all the other Disciples fled when Jesus was arrested as they were in fear they would be arrested also, Matthew 25:56, but after Jesus ascended to heaven they were all made Apostles of Christ filled with the Holy Spirit that guided them.

John was the Apostle to the Church in Ephesus where he lived and wrote four epistles, John, First, Second and Third John. He was exiled to the isle of Patmos by the Roman Emperor Domitian for preaching the word of God in the Roman province of Asia where the seven Churches were located. It is said that John was in his nineties when he was exiled and probably released around 97 AD after Domitian died. John was born around 6 AD and died around 100 AD.

John was in the Spirit (being in the Spirit means being in the presence of Gods Spirit that makes the flesh to weak to stand, John 18:6) on the Lords day that was a chosen day of God in his timing and purpose to reveal these revelations to John. He was not literally taken up to heaven, John 3:13, but only in the Spirit.

John first heard a great voice as a trumpet as the voice was very distinct to him like that of hearing a trumpet sound in all its great power and authority. John heard the voice saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

Ephesus would be the nearest Church to this isle and as supply ships came in someone from the Church would come and take parts of these letters and hide them on their person and take them back to the Church of Ephesus as they were dispersed between all seven Churches.

Revelation 1:12-16

John turns around and sees seven golden candlesticks or as they are called lamp stands in the Old Testament that stood before the altar of the throne. In the center of these candlesticks there is one like unto the Son of man. The voice that John heard at first declared I am Alpha and Omega. John now turns around to see that which was speaking to him was Jesus. He was clothed in a garment down to his feet. The garment represents Gods righteousness that is the robe of our salvation that is found in Jesus who sits at the right hand of the Father judging and making intercession for us before the Father, as Satan stands accusing the brethren before Him, Isaiah 61:10; Revelation 12:10. Jesus is as our Savior redeemer in whom we find our salvation through faith in Him.

The golden girdle around his breast indicates his importance as he wears it high up on his breast just as the Levtical priest wore their Ephod around their breast, Exodus 28:1-38. The golden girdle means we are joined with Jesus in judgment as our names are carved out through faith and Gods righteousness found in us as we are joined together with Jesus as heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus that we too will suffer with him that we may be also glorified together, Romans 8:17.

The golden girdle is bound to the breast as it also resembles Gods love for us that nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Jesus our Lord, Romans 8:37-39. Jesus has paid the ultimate price for our sin that we may be accepted before him through repentance and confession of faith in him.

Jesus hair was white as wool or snow. This shows his purity and freedom from sin as he lived on this earth a sinless man, Isaiah1:18. Daniel calls him the Ancient of Days sitting on his seat during his vision, Daniel 7:9. His eyes were as a flame of fire as even the darkness of sin can not hide itself from being seen of the Lord. Only God knows the intents of the heart and what drives the heart to evil.

The feet of Jesus are described as fine brass as if they were burned in the fire of a furnace and his voice as the sound of many waters. When you put the description of Jesus feet and his voice together this is the great power and authority of God that works through Jesus as he instructs his Church. Fine brass is a refining fire and the sound of many waters is the power of his word.

The seven stars are the seven spirits of God the angels carry to the seven Churches. The spirit of the Lord that rest upon the Church, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear (respect) of the Lord who is the Spirit of truth, Isaiah 11:2 The messages these seven angels carry to the seven Churches are given in a sense of a two edge sword warning as one side of Gods word brings blessings and the other side brings judgment of disobedience.

Revelation 1:17-20

When John saw the full glory of the Lord he fell before His feet and became very still before Him like he was dead. Jesus reached out to touch John and told him not to fear as Jesus confirmed, I am the Alpha and Omega the living Christ. He told John he had the keys of hell and death which means those who sleep in the grave, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, that will be raised up in the first resurrection to meet Jesus in the clouds and have life eternal.

Those of the second resurrection who will be cast into the lake of fire with Satan, the beast and the false prophet on such the second death has no power of life eternal, Revelation 20:6, 11-15. The hidden truth of the seven stars and seven candlesticks are revealed to John as the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches and the seven candlesticks which he saw are the seven churches.

The Comfort of the Lord’s ReturnNow we do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you will not grieve as also the rest, who have no hope.13The Comfort of the Lord’s ReturnNow we do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you will not grieve as also the rest, who have no hope.14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, thus also God will bring those who have fallen asleep through Jesus together with him.14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, thus also God will bring those who have fallen asleep through Jesus together with him.15For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who remain until the Lord’s coming, will not possibly precede those who have fallen asleep.15For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who remain until the Lord’s coming, will not possibly precede those who have fallen asleep.16For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.16For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.17Then we who are alive, who remain, will be snatched away at the same time together with them in the clouds for a meeting with the Lord in the air, and thus we will be together with the Lord always.17Then we who are alive, who remain, will be snatched away at the same time together with them in the clouds for a meeting with the Lord in the air, and thus we will be together with the Lord always.18Therefore comfort one another with these words.18Therefore comfort one another with these words.

The Unveiling

Over the next few days I am going to present my study on the book of Revelations. Before we begin our study in Revelation there is one thing we must remember that is very important. Revelation was given to John in visions as prophecies that had their beginnings in the Old Testament, being fulfilled in the New Testament and yet much to be fulfilled in future events before the great and terrible day of the Lords return.

Revelations is given to all nations and tongues that live throughout the whole world as in Jew and Gentile. Israel is mainly mentioned, but not all of Israel is Gods chosen people. Those who are washed in the blood of the Lamb are joined as a branch with Israel as God is the root of that branch and those who are sealed by His Holy Spirit are His own who find favor in Him, Romans 11:11-31. Therefore, our attention needs to be on those things that are happening in Israel especially Jerusalem as being Gods Holy City.

Within Gods final chastisement on man He continues to call them to repentance and one has to take into consideration during the time of the seven trumpets sounding what God pours out that destroys man will be a third part of every nation simultaneously being destroyed unless they repent and turn back to God. This also includes those who call themselves a Christian, but by name only as they have not Gods Holy Spirit dwelling in them and will also be destroyed, Matthew 7:21.

I have intentionally left out numbering the verses as these revelations given by Jesus to John to write them down were written as many individual letters in chronological order that were carried to the seven Churches in the Roman province of Asia and now revealed to the whole world.

From the very beginning of time starting with Adam man has allowed themselves to lose that Spiritual fellowship with God as Adam did when he fell to temptation through Satan’s deceit. Through the sin of Adams disobedience, we have all allowed ourselves to be deceived causing us to fall short of Gods glory and became children of disobedience as we continue to allow Satan to deceive us unaware of his devices. God will chastise his children as a Father that disciplines his children. He only wants the best for them, but many have a rebellious heart that will not heed His warnings and have turned a deaf ear towards Him as they love their own lives unto death and will perish never knowing Gods mercy and grace.

Wars and rumor of wars, nation against nation and kingdoms against kingdoms, famines, pestilences and earthquakes are all results of mans sin as they continue to fall from Gods grace as they become lovers of self, 2 Timothy 3:2-4. The fulfillment of prophecy is in that of Jesus life, death and resurrection that we can reconcile ourselves back to God through His grace before the return of Jesus. Our covenant promise from God is that we will have eternal life with Him, John 10:27, 28, through grace that we can reconcile ourselves back to the Father and live our lives according to His will.

What you are about to read and have revealed to you in these revelations are those things that are yet future compared with that of the past. It has always been kingdom against kingdom and nation against nation. There are only two kingdoms as one is Gods kingdom that is taught in all truths through Gods Holy Spirit and the other a ruling kingdom of Satan who uses a Jezebel spirit that speaks a deceptive word to deceive the nations, Revelation 2:20.

Revelations is full of symbolism that is literal where it needs to be and Spiritual where it needs to define that of the literal. These revelations are given as a warning to those who have yet to accept Jesus as Messiah. Gods chastisements are to draw those back to him in repentance before that door of salvation is closed forever when Jesus returns and Gods true Church is gathered up to be with the Father forever.

The focus in Revelations would seem to center around Israel only and the nations that come against her for this is how John would recognize it to be since all other nations were not yet developed in his time. Revelations is about all of us, Jew and Gentile, past, present and future that by faith keep Gods commandments. We are Gods witnesses that testify of His mercy and grace as we take His word out into the world to those who have ears to hear.

Israel lost her right to be called Gods chosen people, (God did save a faithful remnant), as they fell into idolatry worshiping other gods as they allowed themselves to fall from Gods grace as they followed the lust of their own hearts as they practiced Judaism, 1 Kings 9:1-9. God’s judgment against them led them to be captured, 605 – 537 B.C., by Nebuchadnezzar and taken into Babylon for seventy years while Nebuchadnezzar’s army killed many Jews in Judah and Jerusalem destroying the whole city of Jerusalem including the first Temple that was built through King Solomon’s reign in Jerusalem.

The second Temple was built under Ezra’s leadership and Israel continued practicing Judaism and their Temple was desecrated as part of an effort to impose Greek-oriented culture and customs on the entire population. Roman rule refurbished the temple as Herod, Romans vassal king, rules the land of Israel. In 70 A.D. the Temple is once again destroyed. The Temple Mount was taken over in 691 A.D. as the Arab nation built the Dome of the Rock and there has not been any other Temple built since that time on the original Temple Mount.

God gave Israel 490 years to repent. They were set free from Babylon when the Medes and Persian conquered Babylon (Chaldean) around 538 B.C. They were allowed back in the land and to rebuild the city of Jerusalem, however, they still did not repent for their sin of idol worshiping and they continued to receive punishment from God as the kingdom was taken away and eventually taken over by the Roman Empire. Malachi Chapter 1-4.

The 490 years were up and many of the Jews not only did not repent but they killed the very Messiah they had been waiting for as well as in 24 A.D. they made an opened display of rejecting the Gospel message as they stoned Stephen being the final messenger that was sent to give them their last chance to repent. The Jews were now rejected as God’s chosen people and were no different from the Gentiles as from that time forth each individual, Jew and Gentile has to make their own decision to accept or reject Jesus as Lord and Savior, John 3:3-7; Romans 10:9, 10.

The disciples were called first to preach to the Jews, Matthew 10:6, and Paul was called to preach to the Gentiles, Acts 22:21. God has saved a remnant out of the twelve tribes of Israel even up to a thousand generations that have always been faithful to Him, Exodus 20:1-6; Psalms 105:7, 8, but those who have yet to accept Jesus as Messiah God will continue to cut them off.

2 Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The Disciples who sat with Jesus on the Mt. of Olives in Matthew 24:3 asked Him three questions, when shall these things be, what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? These three questions are now revealed to us as the Spirit of God has revealed them to John who told him to write these visions down and give them to the Church for instruction and understanding.

May God bless you as you allow your Spiritual eyes and ears to be opened as the Holy Spirit reveals all truths and gives us wisdom and understanding of the word of God. We are not to fear that which has to come, but be prepared for when it does so we will not be taken as a thief in the night, but to be a faithful watchman waiting patiently for that great and terrible day of the Lords return.

I have consecrated this house which you have built, by putting my name there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.3Adonai said to him, “I have heard your prayer and your plea which you have made before me. I have consecrated this house which you have built, by putting my name there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.4As for you, if you walk before me as David your father walked, with integrity of heart“in blamelessness of heart” and with uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you, and if you keep my ordinances and my judgments,4As for you, if you walk before me as David your father walked, with integrity of heart“in blamelessness of heart” and with uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you, and if you keep my ordinances and my judgments,5then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, as I promised David your father, saying, ‘A man will not be cut off for you from upon the throne of Israel.’5then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, as I promised David your father, saying, ‘A man will not be cut off for you from upon the throne of Israel.’6“If ever you or any of your descendantsOr “children” turn from following me and do not keep my commandments and my ordinances that I have set before you and you go and serve other gods and bow down to them,6“If ever you or any of your descendantsOr “children” turn from following me and do not keep my commandments and my ordinances that I have set before you and you go and serve other gods and bow down to them,7then I will cut Israel off from the face of the land that I have given to them, even the house which I have consecrated for my name I will cast away from my face; and Israel shall become a proverb and an object of taunting among all the peoples.7then I will cut Israel off from the face of the land that I have given to them, even the house which I have consecrated for my name I will cast away from my face; and Israel shall become a proverb and an object of taunting among all the peoples.8This house shall become a heap of ruins; all those passing by will be appalled by it and hiss, and they will say, ‘On what account did Adonai do this to this land and to this house?’8This house shall become a heap of ruins; all those passing by will be appalled by it and hiss, and they will say, ‘On what account did Adonai do this to this land and to this house?’9And they will say, ‘Because they have forsaken Adonai their God who brought their ancestorsOr “fathers” out from the land of Egypt and they embraced other gods and bowed down to them and served them. Therefore, Adonai brought on them all of this disaster.’”9And they will say, ‘Because they have forsaken Adonai their God who brought their ancestorsOr “fathers” out from the land of Egypt and they embraced other gods and bowed down to them and served them. Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly I say to you, unless someone is born from above,The same Greek word can mean either “from above” or “again,” which allows for the misunderstanding by Nicodemus here; Jesus was speaking of new birth “from above,” while Nicodemus misunderstood him to mean a second physical birth he is not able to see the kingdom of God.”3Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly I say to you, unless someone is born from above,The same Greek word can mean either “from above” or “again,” which allows for the misunderstanding by Nicodemus here; Jesus was speaking of new birth “from above,” while Nicodemus misunderstood him to mean a second physical birth he is not able to see the kingdom of God.”4Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is an old man? But by their trespass, salvation has come to the Gentiles, in order to provoke them to jealousy.*The words “to jealousy” are not in the Greek text, but are supplied for clarity12And if their trespass means riches for the world and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their fullness mean?12And if their trespass means riches for the world and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their fullness mean?13Gentile Branches Grafted inNow I am speaking to you Gentiles. Therefore, inasmuch as I am apostle to the Gentiles, I promote my ministry,13Gentile Branches Grafted inNow I am speaking to you Gentiles. Therefore, inasmuch as I am apostle to the Gentiles, I promote my ministry,14if somehow I may provoke my people to jealousy and save some of them.14if somehow I may provoke my people to jealousy and save some of them.15For if their rejection means the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance mean except life from the dead?15For if their rejection means the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance mean except life from the dead?16Now if the first fruits are holy, so also is the whole batch of dough, and if the root is holy, so also are the branches.16Now if the first fruits are holy, so also is the whole batch of dough, and if the root is holy, so also are the branches.17Now if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although youHere “although” is supplied as a component of the participle (“were”) which is understood as concessive were a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them and became a sharer of the root of the olive tree’s richness,17Now if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although youHere “although” is supplied as a component of the participle (“were”) which is understood as concessive were a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them and became a sharer of the root of the olive tree’s richness,18do not boast against the branches. But if you boast against them, you do not support the root, but the root supports you.18do not boast against the branches. But if you boast against them, you do not support the root, but the root supports you.19Then you will say, “Branches were broken off in order that I could be grafted in.”19Then you will say, “Branches were broken off in order that I could be grafted in.”20Well said!
