If some for various reasons some people cannot get vaccinated i mean its always good for people to consult with there doctor or a health professional first when it comes to something medical right? In the name of health and safety.

Most likely the vast majority of people who cannot get vaccinated know they can't and have talked with their doctor already about it, especially since vaccines have been out for months now.

Oh Gee, based on science. What a relief that is...not.

Of course the Covid vaccine is not effective. Just listen to all the whiners from those who got the vaccine. If you really believe it is effective why are you worried about us who don't get the vaccine?

How are we putting you in danger? It's all bull and smoke.

In addition to my previous response, I need to add that a major worry about the unvaccinated are that they unnecessarily clog up the hospitals. Where I live, in both the third and fourth waves (which we are just beginning to come out of), numerous surgeries and other treatments, life-saving or otherwise, were postponed because the hospitalizations were too high. The vast majority of hospitalizations in both waves were unvaccinated people. Doctors and others were (and still are) pulled from what they regularly do to help out with COVID patients. Many nurses are burnt out and considering quitting. The tole on healthcare professionals and non-COVID patients is going to be immense.

Possibly but it still needs to be said. Im someone who is careful when it comes to medical and not only myself but for other people as well. The only advice i will ever give someone is to talk with a doctor or health profeesional. I would never influence anyone to do anything when it comes to medical as i dont want any responsibility for anyone elses health decisions.
If you don't influence someone to get vaccinated and they get COVID and die, get long COVID, spread COVID to others and they die, etc., what then? Are you free of responsibility? (Serious question; I don't know.) What about sending literature that supports the safety and efficacy of vaccines, especially to someone who is clearly only believing the misinformation, without suggesting someone get vaccinated, is that influencing them? Of course, one can always influence others to get the vaccine but urge them to talk to their doctor first.

I've continued to urge people to get vaccinated based on the evidence. Are there risks? Of course. But l looked at the data and saw that the benefits significantly outweighed them.

Does the vaccine stop a vaccinated person who gets Covid from spreading it to others?

Does the vaccine prevent a person from getting COVID?

He said they aren't 100% effective, not that they are 0% effective. But I think you know that.

Actually, no. It didn't prove your point. Again, I think you know that.

I am not going to list the reasons why, as I believe you have heard them already.

Only to those who refuse to be vaccinated. I think it helps them sleep at night to think that or something.

Well, you didn't say anything, so why did you respond?

Again, if the vaccine works, why are you and others whining?

I just heard Colin Powell died. They said he died of Covid, yet he had the vaccine. But, he was also fighting cancer. Guess what probably killed him? Cancer. But how is it reported? He died of Covid. Smoke and bull. Pad them numbers.

"Big deal" if someone who is an image-bearer of God dies? "Big deal" if someone dies when that death was possibly preventable?

Again, who is whining and what are they whining about?

No, the COVID vaccines are actually quite effective, and that is why people should get them. I care about people, I care about how those who claim to be Christian represent Christ to the world, and I care about His Church. That is why I won't leave people alone. It would be un-Christian for me to do so.

Who is whining? You and everyone who wants me to get vaccinated when I don't want to, thats who. As to what you're whining about, you tell me. If you have had your shot, don't worry about it. I am not saying you can't get a shot.

I don't believe you. You want to present yourself as whining because you just love all these people. Yet many of these people don't want the shot. They believe it is unconstitutional to force them and their families to take the shot. But you think your 'luvvve' just trumps anyone elses decision.

Play your 'luvve' game somewhere else.

Condescension is unbecoming of a Christian. The vaccines do what they are supposed to do. You never did give me your definition of ‘effective’.

As for Colin Powell, I know someone who died a few years ago from the same cancer he had. The treatments severely compromise a person’s immune system, as with many cancers. He quite likely died from COVID, as reported.

If you want to believe the numbers they are reporting, go ahead. May as well since you have bought into the Covid hype already. I don't.

Just take your shot and your booster, again and again, and again....and you won't have to worry about it. Right? But don't clog up any hospitals in doing so.

Sure he did. That's like saying, yes he had Cancer that destroyed his immune system then he died of a cold or flu. But it was Cancer that killed him. But it will go on record today that it is covid that killed him. Why? They want the numbers and a well known person, as he, makes the number more impressive to people like yourself who buy into this.

Making someone take a shot against their will is unbecoming a Christian.

If the vaccine was effective, if it really worked, you shouldn't be worried about it. Effective means effective. Because it isn't effective, is why you worry. But you want to blame those who don't take the vaccine.

I sure hope you don’t claim to be a Christian. The one thing the pandemic has made abundantly clear is just how much selfish worldliness is in the Church, especially the Western Church.

A main guiding ethic for Christian behaviour is love for others and putting their interests ahead of our own. It seems that far too many who claim to be Christian have either forgotten these or conveniently ignored them.

I think people have the right to not get vaccinated. But I also believe that businesses and institutions have the right to determine who they let on their premises out of a responsibility to the health and safety of their employees, customers, clients, etc. Wouldn’t you agree?

If someone’s immune system is compromised, for whatever reason, and they die from the flu, the flu killed them. If they die from COVID, then COVID killed them. If they end up dying from the cancer itself, as the man I know did, then the cancer killed them.

Effectiveness isn’t an either/or thing. The data proves the vaccines are very beneficial.

Well, you didn't say anything, so why did you respond?

I said alot. You are just choosing to ignore it.

Again, if the vaccine works, why are you and others whining?

I'm not whining about it. I have never whined about it. I am passionate about it as I believe all should be vaccinated if they're able, but you go ahead and make your choice. Don't complain if you find out, to borrow a movie quote, " you chose poorly."

But how is it reported? He died of Covid. Smoke and bull. Pad them numbers.

It isn't smoke and bull. They said that he had cancer and died of covid complications. They are saying that cancer lowered his immunity and ability to fight off covid. Cancer that he had affected his ability to mount the appropriate response to the vaccine basically making the vaccine ineffective, for him.

He wasn't going to die today of cancer, but he did die because the covid hastened his death. Complications from covid are what killed him.

Then no one dies from aids. They die of something else. Ridiculous.

If you believe the data. I don't. It's all smoke and bull.

And if you believe it, then be happy with your shot. Quit whining to us who don't want it.

Nope. It isn't that black and white. There are percentages of effectiveness. Again you know this, but for whatever reason, you are feigning ignorance it seems.

Yeah, just keep getting your booster, again, and again, and again.......because it's so effective. And don't catch cancer cause then covid kills you.

Quantrill

Sure you are whining.

If you keep it up, I will accuse you of whining. I am not whining.
And I am more than happy with my choice.

Will you still be happy if you catch covid and either become a long hauler or have only so long to live?

Sure he did. He had cancer but covid killed him.

Because the covid is what killed him. If someone has multiple sclerosis but catches something else and it kills them, it wasn't the MS that killed them, it was the secondary illness. Covid was the secondary illness to cancer. Covid killed him, not cancer.

See how they get their numbers.

This is nothing but anti-vaccine claptrap.

Smoke and bull.

If that is what you need to say to help you sleep at night, have at it.

Everyone needs boosters for most vaccines. This includes childhood vaccines. Tetanus vaccines, etc.

If I end up with cancer, and Covid, yeah, the covid will probably kill me. I understand this, but you apparently do not.
